I've been lurking for a while and just want to post to calm some nerves - I saw that people on the forum were "invited," so I checked ACORN and saw nothing.
Panicked for an hour refreshing the page and it just updated to show the invite... they're definitely rolling this out really slowly, possibly alphabetically! Hoping we get some kind of confirmation soon... good luck everyone

PS: to anyone stressing - last year, my Acorn and SGS status didn't change until a few weeks after my offer arrived via email. Relax. Wait until the school gets back to you!

Yeah, it's super frustrating. Like I said before, I still hope that we start to hear back sooner rather than later, but it's something beyond anybody's control other than the admissions team. I also feel like due to the new video component, the application/decision process this year is a lot more stringent and highly selective than before.

All these schools are top in their field (in Canada). Getting into grad school is an enough of an accomplishment and should not be diminished by the line of thinking that one is a lesser school:). Also if it helps, my sister went to a 'nothing' school for her Masters and still landed her dream job :).

Just got accepted to GSPIA!! Stats: I have an A- cumulative GPA and an A final year GPA. Have worked for the provincial government twice during my summers, studied abroad in France in my third year, and a lot of volunteer experience throughout my undergrad. Best of luck to everyone still waiting from GSPIA!

Some info from gspia administrators to share,
- coop is optional to register, no credits, but if done, must take 2 terms
- French Language course will be offered in fall, must attend, the master course taught in French only needs French in listening and presentation, English can be used in all written parts.
