    The admissions officer got back that all interviews have been extended. But may just be for the PI I requested (LS)

    Some updates: I emailed Buffalo and heard that the admissions officer is waiting to hear back whether all invites were extended. FDU sent an email last wk that they should all be extended by tomorrow, and LIU Brooklyn said hopefully by the end of the week. I think USC has been extended right? Anyone know about stony brook?

    I just got back from a 12 day adventure through Europe. ( 10 days in Germany- two stopovers one in Lisbon, one in Copenhagen). I’m super glad I did it. I was initially nervous about dates with interviews but said to myself eff that I need to live my life. And I’m glad I did! Ive been pretty chilled for the most part (mainly because I’m convinced I didn’t get in to the first 5 programs- maybe the 6th.) Sometimes I have a moment where I get mad- it’s horrible that they don’t send us any updates. Some of my earlier deadlines were late November, two months ago but this is it .... is what it is

    I haven’t and just assumed I didn’t get in. From what I saw from previous years all interviews seem to be next wkd. (You can look at previous years results...)

    How does that work in general? I haven’t gotten notices/ rejections/ others from schools with apps due from 11/29-12/15. Does that mean they’re holding on to us as second choices or they haven’t gotten around to rejections? ( My other schools had later deadlines 01/01-01/5 so there’s still time to see. But those early schools I feel like must have rejected me it’s been so long!)

    It said up to 12 pages so I wasn’t sure what that meant. Thanks to the lovely folks here I kept it at what felt natural to me which was maybe about 4 pages double spaced? Or was it 3? I’d need to check.

    I am applying to clinical psych phds and added one phd sw as a backup since my masters in social work. The school is stating that the statement should be up to 12 pages. My psych statements were 2 pages so Im freaking out. 12 pges?? I think mine will be around 5. I hope to submit it tom. How many pages were your statements? It seesm lie they do want a lot of personal info as opposed to the psych statements.

    did anyone hear back from the person who got the stony brook intervuew? Thats really fast. If you did hear from them can you pm the initial to me? ty also why might some schools reject now and others in feb? Like people off the bat that they know are not a fit? I didnt hear back yet from a school with an 11/29 deadline but I do see in other years some people got rejections today (interview invites for this school anytime from 7-30 of dec with a lot concentrated around now)

    yeah- one was classification of personality disorders, one was depression gxe interaction, one was aggression and conduct disorders gxe. so related I guess. Meaning what were their thoughts on it or what did the letters say?

    I just submitted my app to my 3rd program tonight. Im trying with 3 schools- well see what happens. Interestingly (or insanely) somehow I ended up applying for 3 totally different reserach topics. I hope they don't ask me about my other apps on interviews :0 Can I just say -- it is a serious project just to get the apps together, so congrats to us for all of that! And yes- I can join the checking emails group ?
