  1. I guess they will send till late Jan. I got a mail from them saying that they have received lots of applications and they will be sending emails till late Jan. It was a general email. Also, as per the trend, they mail initially to us people and then to international candidates.

  3. I got a mail from them saying that the interview invitations are sent from late Dec to late Jan (This is sent to all participants I guess, it's a general email. I got that way early). Going by the trend as seen on the results page for most of the universities that I applied, they send mail first to international candidates. I am non - us. Hence, I guess we have chances.

  8. I'm an international student. I applied to 11 universities - NYU Sackler (Biomedical), UAB Biosciences, Pittsburgh IBGP, UPenn Immuno, UGA ILS, Emory Immuno, UNC BBSP, UMinnesota MICaB, Virginia Biomed, vanderbilt IGP, Uchicago Biosciences. I haven't received any info from any. I'm feeling dejected. Can anyone please help? Or give some motivational and practical stats as to this can happen since I'm an international candidate? (Providing they must be prefering US people first). PLEASE TELL GUYS!

  10. @VehementApathy GRE is not required for Fall 2019. It was written in the application guidelines.

  15. This year onwards, I searched 153 universities out of which 34 didn't require GRE. I applied there. A few recommended it as supplementary material but not as a mandatory part of the application. Anyways, I have my stats. Can you please tell me by seeing those, what chance do I have for Phd?

  20. Hey fellowmates, I have applied for Fall 2019 for PhD in USA universities in the subjects of Life / Biological / Biomedical Sciences or Biosciences. I will be glad if you will submit your decisions, thoughts and stats here below. It would give a glimpse and idea to others about admissions. (Even I will do it.) As you know, that GRE is not required since this year onwards for Fall 2019, I would advise you not to write that below. Good luck to all.
