  1. Well, ladies and gents, it was a crazy ride! This application process is a bitch. Fortunately, I won't be doing it again, I'm attending Florida Tech! The funding isn't ideal, but I'll just have to pop over to the beach and cry in my beer about it. ? I wish you all the best. If you didn't get what you wanted this year, don't give up! You truly can do anything if you just keep working on it. Cheers!
  2. I noticed today that CSU has updated my portal. "Your department has recommended a decision to the Graduate School. You will receive a final decision within two weeks. " I have no idea when it was updated. I haven't checked it in a week or so. Anyway, if you are still waiting to hear from CSU, consider checking your portal.
  3. Another one bites the dust! Rejection on the portal from George Washington....... I guess I would feel bad if I didn't already have an acceptance. ?
  4. There is no status on the online application site. It was just a mass email. See below. Dear Applicant to the USF I-O Psychology Doctoral Program: Thank you for applying to the University of South Florida graduate program in Industrial-Organizational Psychology for the Fall 2019 term of entry. Your application has been carefully reviewed by the Graduate Admissions Committee and by faculty of the I-O program. I regret to inform you that you will not be admitted into the program. Each year the number of qualified applicants far exceeds the available openings. For this reason, the graduate program must be very selective in making decisions. Some of the factors taken into consideration when making these decisions include: · Competitive GRE scores and grade point average · Ability of the program to provide faculty, curricular and/or research opportunities consonant with the applicant’s stated educational objectives · Enrollment constraints that restrict the number of applicants that a program can accept · Completeness of the applicant’s file · Overall competitiveness of application I appreciate your interest in pursuing graduate education at the University of South Florida. If in the future you believe that your accomplishments may be competitive, then please do not hesitate to reapply. I wish you every success in achieving your educational objectives. I am sorry that your application did not succeed at this point. I wish you the best in your other applications for admission into a doctoral psychology program that fits your needs. Sincerely, Michael Coovert, Ph.D. Professor and Admissions Chair, Industrial-Organizational Psychology Doctoral Program
  5. If anyone applied to work with Dr. Kraiger at CSU I just noticed on the website that he has moved to the University of Memphis into a management program. Guess I should have emailed him before applying. ;-(
  6. Interviewed with UCF today. They have narrowed their applicant pool down to 13-15 and are interviewing them this week. They expect to have decisions out next week.
  7. I've seen a couple of folks on here mention that they had an interview or an invite to an interview already. Would you mind passing along what school you interviewed for?
