Thanks so much for this Both schools and programs are very well respected, and I'm doing both distance. So I've just been looking through the required courses and I think that will be what helps me make my final decision. So glad you enjoyed the program! That's great to hear.

Just got acceptance at Waterloo! I've now heard back from all schools and time for decisions.. I was set on UAlberta but now I'm unsure. Any input on UWaterloo vs UAlberta for MPH???? HELP!

I applied for MPH. I received acceptance from USask MPH in late January.

I applied to UVic, USask, UAlberta, and UWaterloo. So far I received acceptance from every school except UWaterloo (still waiting).

Currently completing my BSc Health Promotion at Dalhousie with a 3.7/4.3 GPA. Have quite a bit of volunteer experience including a 590-hour internship working under a well-known prof in Health Promotion. Minimal paid experience relevant to the field. Also have solid references (Health Promotion Manager at a major not-for-profit and my prof). Good luck

This might be a silly question... But do universities still send out physical acceptance packages in the mail or is that just an undergrad thing?

Hi there. I received the same letter from Sask. You basically just have to confirm your interest to get final acceptance. I would accept this just to be safe as my understanding is there is no down payment or anything at this stage. -

GPA 3.65 cumulative, last two years around 3.8 Around 2 years of regular volunteer work One research paper submitted for publication (second author) Currently completing a 590 hour internship in a health promotion related area Strong references - research project supervisor, Health Promotion Manager at a major not for profit organization, and a well-known health promotion professor Accepted to U of Sask and U Alberta, waiting on UVic and uWaterloo (applied to all online programs).
