  1. I'm in! LDIT HGSE here I come!!! I hope everyone here got the good news as well
  2. I just checked the that 2021 forum, and they found out at 4:00! Also, 2020 and 2019 decisions were released around 4:40. So you’re definitely right and it’s safe to say if we hear back it will be between 4:00-5:00. I don’t think I can bare another week if we don’t find out. Fingers crossed everyone!
  3. Why do you think we’ll find out at 4?
  4. Let’s not make assumptions! I know many of us are already stressed. Hopefully it’s just a glitch. Maybe contact HGSE admissions? Mine is working though, and my Aid Application status says received.
  5. Definitely echoing ohemmdoctorgee sentiments, this group has been very reassuring and stress-relieving. I could never imagine stewing about this alone! Best of luck to everyone ?.
  6. I’m an international applicant from Canada (Toronto). Nervous to find out! Definitely hoping for tomorrow like everyone else in this forum. All my future plans are on hold until I find out this decision.
  7. I also hope they let us know by this Friday! I’m so nervous, it’s pretty much all I can think about.
  8. I'm curious to know more about the stats this year. I remember last year someone noted, "It was a record breaking year for applications". I hope things have cooled down a little this year. Also, I'd love to hear about who applied to what discipline. I applied to the EdM LDIT program.
  9. What a beautiful moment! Hopefully we all get the good news just like Katrina did. Honestly, my last masters that I applied to was so much more stressful in terms of the wait time. They had rolling admission from Feb till April and decisions were sent out on random weekdays. I literally found out on Wednesday the 25th of March at 2:00pm that I was accepted. At least knowing that HGSE is pretty consistent in sending their letters of acceptance on a Friday to ALL their applicants, is definitely a little less stressful. Plus, this online space has been pretty good at keeping up to tabs with HGSE admissions. Hoping for next Friday!! Fingers crossed to everyone who applied, I wish you all the very best.
  10. I was wondering the same thing. Everyone keeps saying “the first week of March” and referencing previous forums. Last year applicants heard back on the second Friday of March and the year prior to that, they heard back on the first week. I think it’s safe to say that we’ll find out in the first 2 weeks!!! Definitely nerve wracking ?
  11. Who else is starting to feel anxious? ?
  12. I totally agree... it was insanely short. I swear it was only 10 questions!
  13. Hello all! I completed my Financial Aid application today, and I was wondering if it was only 1 page that we needed to complete. my computer glitched out and it said my application was submitted, but I had refreshed my screen and I don't know if the application was more than one page. Let me know!
  14. Hello all! Looking forward to applying this year. Very nervous, but HGSE has always been my dream. I can agree with @sunshine_and_rainbows, when reading the forums from previous years, everyone seems to have had such unique experiences prior to applying. It's quite daunting, but I am confident we all have something special to offer. Wishing you all the best of luck!
  15. Hey, so I know OISE looks at your last 2 years and it does not matter if they are upper year courses or not. Now, if you are a part time student then they look at your upper year courses. I know this for a fact because when I went to the open house I asked the admission department that specifically handles going over looking at grades. You also need to remember that they don’t take the current year you are completing. So, whatever marks you have accumulated in the 2 years previous to your current year are used no matter if you took first year course or fourth year but keep in mind it is different if you were a full time student. I was accepted to PJ and my last two year gpa was 3.5 but I have over 7 years experience teaching learners from k-8, and I have various unique experiences teaching children in this age group along with countless hours of volunteer experience. I do know that there are a lot people who already have an MA or have been teaching in the board and are applying to the MT program. I know personally 2 people who have done this and I believe someone brought it up earlier in the thread. I myself do not have a BEd, but I applied for the MT program in my last year of studies at York, while acquiring my Bachelor of Arts. Best of luck with everything and I hope this helps a little.
  16. Hey, they will email you from SGS asking you to log in to the SGS portal and where it says under review is where it will now have a document. That document will then tell you if you have been accepted or rejected. Everything happened all at once for me, I checked acorn and SGS in the morning and nothing, once I was emailed I checked it all and it was updated. Best of luck, I know it’s a hard wait.
  17. Finally after this long hard wait I have been accepted to the MT p/j!!!!! Best of luck to everyone still waiting, thank you for all the support! I wish you all the best!
  18. I know, me as well. Don’t worry you know you work as hard as you could so whatever happens, happens. They only give out admission decisions during their hours so Monday to Friday 9:30-4:30pm, just relax spend time with family and friends, keep your your mind occupied there is nothing you can do at this point. We’re all waiting it out until Monday, fingers crossed all the best guys ?
  19. Another day and nothing . Has anyone else heard back?
  20. Hello, did you apply to more than one program? For example did you apply to the MACSE and MT? My thoughts are you might of gotten rejected for one but accepted for another. Regardless, it would be quite strange if you initially got rejected but then they changed their mind. Congrats if you did get a cited but I would probably contact SGS. Best of luck!!
  21. For whoever hasn’t heard back yet, I called OISE this morning and they let me know that they’ll be rolling out admissions until the end of March and into April. If you applied before Nov 15 you should expect to hear back by the end of March, if you don’t receive an email by the end of March then you should probably contact SGS. If you applied after Nov 15 you will most likely hear back after March and maybe into May. This is very similar to the response given last year to student who were still waiting. Hopefully they get back to us before April. Best of luck to everyone still waiting!
  22. Hey thank you so much for responding to me. Yes I did, I submitted everything on November 14 and my references and transcripts were received before November 14 as well. I just would of thought since the MACSE program is smaller than the MT program, for me to have gotten an interview for the MACSE it was a good sign for the MT. The clearly doesn’t seem to be the case!
  23. I actually had an interview to this program and never heard back after my interview. Considering people were accepted and they are already holding a welcome reception it’s not looking so good for me. I had the MACSE as my back up but I haven’t even heard back from the MT. My profile still says under review! It’s just heart breaking because I don’t see as to why I was interviewed for the MACSE and seen as a potential candidate, but with the MT I haven’t even heard back yet. Mind you P/J MT does have the highest volume of applicants, but regardless I really hope I get into this program it would mean the world to me! :( if there’s anyone who’s in a similar situation please let me know!
