  2. Hey we have a groupme for now! Message me and I can add you!
  3. I'm from Virginia and chose to go 7 hours away for undergrad at USC. I am very thankful I made this leap, as I think it helped me grow independently and make all kinds of new friends. I'm now faced with choosing between staying at USC, going back home to UVA, or going even further to GSU in Atlanta. While going closer to home seems nice, as I'm pretty sick of 7 hour car rides every time I want to go home, the possibility of living in Atlanta is very tempting and I know I will okay on my own, even in a bigger city. If you feel like you want to challenge yourself in ways more than academically, I wholeheartedly suggest moving away. Maybe close enough that it's not a complete hassle to get home, but far enough that you can live your life!!
  4. Ask for assistantships! Many schools give full or partial tuition waivers if you team up with a professor for research or work in the business office or something for 10-20 hr/ week. Some even offer a stipend along with it.
  5. Hi everyone! I'm choosing between these programs and having a really hard time. I'm an out-of-major student, so I'll have an accelerated summer at USC, an extra semester at UVA, and an extra year at GSU. GSU has the most financial aid available to me (I had the interview last week and am still waiting on a decision, but I hope I get in!) I've been accepted to both USC and UVA. If anyone has attended or explored these programs I would love to hear any input! Or just help to decide in general lol. -edit: USC has the "highest ranked" program of them but they're all top 60 and all accredited, so I don't think that's much of a factor.
