  1. Quickly learning that waiting to hear back post interview is 10x harder than waiting to hear back about interviews
  2. School: Bowling Green State University Type: Clinical PhD Date of invite: 1/13 Type of invite: Email from graduate secretary Interview date(s): 2/14 with alternate date of 2/21
  3. I contacted an old professor/advisor and asked if I could use an extra room in their lab
  4. Looks like they sent invites out around 1/15 last year. I haven't heard anything yet.
  5. I've seen a few Vermont interview posters on the results page. If anyone happens to come across this could you please DM your POI's initials? Thanks!
  6. School: University of Houston Type: Clinical PhD Date of invite: 01/09/20 Type of invite: Email following preliminary phone interview with POI Interview date(s): 1/31/20-2/01/20 with alternate date on 1/27
  7. School: Houston Type: Clinical PhD Date of invite: January 8th Type of invite: Email from POI (AV) to set up preliminary phone call
  8. School: East Tennessee State University Type: Clinical PhD Date of invite: January 8th Type of invite: Phone call from graduate coordinator Interview date(s): 1/14 or 1/17
  9. From what I've heard just a thank you card is fine, but a small ~10 dollar gift card to Starbucks or something is always appreciated!
  10. Could Memphis interview also pm me POI. My POI reached out last week and trying to see if they have finalized invites!
  11. I use this exclusively when I see a post on the results page that is NOT on this thread, and it has generally worked out for me. Sorry to crowd the board.
  12. Could the Tennessee and Houston posters with formal/phone interview invites DM POIs. Thanks!
  13. I've seen some people in here stressing about GRE scores and wanted to make a suggestion- try out a vocabulary podcast. The one I used was called VictorPrep and was the sole reason I did so well on the verbal section. It was nice to be able to multitask GRE prep while driving/cooking/etc. A number of the words I learned came up on the actual exam.
  14. Heads up to Memphis/all applicants - I had an email from POI sent straight to my spam box so make sure that's part of your compulsive email checking routine ?
  15. Oklahoma State posters - I've reached out to a couple people who had the same POI. Did invitation seem to be mass invite or POI specific?
