I would wait it out. I've talked to current grad students, and they got their interviews as late as early January, so enjoy the holidays!!

Kinda late to the party but I applied to: UTMB Galveston (Interview) UT Southwestern Vanderbilt UPenn (Interview) Weill Cornell (Interview) UNC UCLA Duke Michigan (Interview) UCSF (Rejected) Rejected by UCSF for the 4th year in a row (3 REUs before this) so rip the dream haha. I was honestly somewhat nervous initially since I'm coming from a lower tier undergrad and wasn't sure how they would weigh that into their decisions. Best of luck to everyone!! -
