I was particularly touched by gesture of MPA/ID Director Carol who took the pain writing to me at the time of release of result that-
"As a Fulbright recipient, this message probably went to IIE on your behalf, so I wanted to alert you to the good news directly.
 Congratulations and best wishes!".
So, technically, I did not need to wait for an email from local Fulbright office about my result; Carol informed me that I had made it!! 

Sorry fellas for the delayed response. I am thrilled to have been admitted into MPA/ID. I got this news from local Fulbright office about 24 hours ago.. FinAid details still awaited and could be available earliest by Monday only. 

I was admitted to the MPA/ID with a full tuition scholarship! It's taken a night's sleep (ok who am I kidding, a few minutes of sleep) and then some for this to sink in and feel real??
This group has been everything, especially this past week ❤️ You've all been amazingly passionate, witty, good humored and kind...and that's how I know each of you will do great regardless of where your degree is from. Nurse your wounds, but bounce back quick. I was rejected from a top program last week, so you never know what's waiting around the corner for you.
I'll be posting my stats on the results page and details on the threads. Anyone reading this in future years pls hit me up with any questions-- I just got really lucky but I'll teach you what I learned from this grueling process anyway
 
 

Hello everyone ... I am elated to say that I have been admitted and received a CPL fellowship. I am still in utter shock. Congratulations to those of you who were also admitted, and to those who weren't -- I am sure you will move onto do great things in the very near future. 2019 was the toughest year of my life, and I hit absolute rock bottom. Finally... it seems like I've landed on my feet. Don't want to jinx it though! ?

All said and done, we are also anxiously waiting for the past few days and months for the results. So, each day is like an added burden to all of us. Although, we are trying to stay as calm as possible, we cannot ignore the fact that our eyes are glued to our email’s and blogposts. Hope we get the results today.

Given the tone from blogpost 22 I feel like the final release date would most likely to be this coming Friday（Mar.20th), which I am personally kind of wishing it that way so that the Admissions Committee at HKS could take this one more day to mitigate all pressures around them regarding COVID-19 and decision-release processes. I mean, what does it even matter to give them one more day or so for cushion in exchange for operational accuracy and institutional efficiency? To be very honest, given such a current circumstance even if the final decisions kicked in by next week I wouldn't be in too much of a surprise.
Folks, the situation of Boston right now is really not "traditional", and for that matter I just wish extra understanding and alleviation to the challenges facing any decision maker and implementer on ground right now shall be considerately offered to them.

I couldn't agree more. I'm from and currently live in Finland. As someone who not only believes in the idea of the European union and the benefits of international cooperation, but has worked in government both on the national and European level, it brakes my heart to see how this crisis has shown that our contintent is indeed still very much disintegrated. All countries have taken a me first-approach. The most tragic example is in Italy, where China has swept in and provided more assistance than fellow EU countries. Especially coming from a small country with a long border with Russia and a history of conflicts, I am getting worried. The EU was supposed to reflect the fact that we are stronger together, but looking at our responses to the outbreak, I'm afraid it is just one more sign of a slide towards more inwards-looking, protectionistic politics and policies which can be extremely detrimental, especially for smaller countries.

I agree we need more positive energy at this time of great uncertainty, something that could bring the already disintegrated people to solidarity, but i wouldn't call a global pandemic that is still rapidly developing a "small disease outbreak". acknowledging the severity of the current situation is as important as staying positive.

Meetings regards applications, I guess, were over long ago. And Matt ran the results through his proprietary spreadsheets almost 10 days ago...Now I guess they would require meetings only to test the system and discuss dry runs...But all this wannabe analysis aside, I see them coming on Thursday...

I can't answer this specifically but offering my two cents.

I recently talked to someone who graduated from SIPA and she highlighted two things about SIPA's courses - quant heavy and global in nature. In terms of job opportunities, her opinion was that having an Ivy league on your resume is certainly an advantage in and out of US and SIPA's students are favorably placed for UN jobs. 
 U-Chicago is known for its economics faculty, a great number of luminaries have walked those halls. Maybe you can find out whether the MPP course is flexible enough for you to take advantage of this.

Yes. But in given context, we can’t be sure of anything. Usually, WWS sends informal (not premature ? ) emails to selected candidates specifying that formal acceptance will be released in a day or two.

Can't be super sure of anything. Just assuming, given previous result dates. For last two years, WWS sends emails one day prior to HKS results which come on Thursday. Putting differently, second Wednesday of March is chosen by WWS for sending unofficial acceptances. This year, it falls on 11 March. 
As regards SIPA, It usually comes on Monday of the week in which WWS/HKS announce their results. But not enough data points to predict. So, 9-10 could be the date. I am sure SIPA wont release results 'along with'/'after' WWS or HKS. It has always come a day or two earlier. So we only have only 9-11 March. 
All guesstimate!! Take this with a pinch of salt. Intention is to keep the thread alive and people hopeful. 
In all likelihood, by the time you go to Pondicherry, you will have received all three results.

Finishing up my MPP now! Been a crazy experience, but so glad I did it!

Based on prior years, those sequential blog posts are pretty indicative of decisions! Please don't take my word for it though...don't need Matt trying to find out who I am. ?
Btw, COVID may shut down classes after Spring Break (which starts next week for us), but I highly doubt it has an impact on the campus functions. The fact that Spring Break starts at the end of this week coupled with the Corona challenge though seems to indicate that ya'll should be hearing by the end of the week for sure. But once again, I'm just a friendly student who doesn't represent admissions in any which way!
