I JUST GOT ACCEPTED TO BOSTON COLLEGE! I'm crying so hard. I'm so thankful and in disbelief, I've been shaking since I got the email. I'll be emailing shortly to take myself off of the UConn waitlist and I hope this helps someone else out. Thank you all so much for your kind words and support through this whole process. It's especially wonderful because yesterday marked one year since my dad passed away, and I can't help but feel he's looking out for me.

People applied fearing they might not have a job- with the economy booming they either kept their job or have new job prospects.

I hope ya right.  Thats what I'm thinking too..but u never know 

The ride is just beginning. I would expect many turning it down as MC/MPAs due to the booming post pandemic domestic economy and intl students still in visa/vaccine limbo. 

Seems like many of us are waitlisted. Looking forward to celebrating each admission from the WL! ? 

Waitlisted for the MPP program! I wanted to ask this group what school do you plan on choosing as your second option?

I'm currently deciding between Univ of Chicago (Harris), Univ of Michigan (Ford) - got a full ride, Columbia (SIPA), and Berkeley (Goldman). 

Waitlisted. But would accept my offer if I were offered.

Yea, no one knows. I'm staying optimistic and think we still have a good chance.  Alot of folks applied this year, and for the admitted who knows..they may realize they have better financial options elsewhere, or its not worth leaving their job for school.  Im still hopeful.

Remain hopeful! Was initially rejected last year and then pulled onto a second waitlist, assumingly due to all the covid-19 craziness.

I've gotten word, and someone else on this blog has gotten word that  it is happening today.  99.99% sure its happening today.  Everything that happened last year and the year before should not be applied to this year.  We've gone weeks without any of the HKS application blogs, i wouldnt apply the same logic from previous years to this year.  Its happening today.

...so frustrating.  Wasn't someone going to email the admission team on timeline, would like to know the response is there was one.
 

....so would love to get one application blog.  Just to say..."hey folks no stress..we are working on it..you will get your result this week or next week" just something...  it could be a 1 sentence.  "You will find out later this week"  id be happy with that vs end of May, which extends to 2 weeks from now.  Sorry needed to get this out of my system.
