Hello,
I was accepted in University of Waterloo’s MSW program (part-time). The wait was brutal and this was the only university I applied to. Turns out, I like to put all my eggs into one basket (because I’m frugal and applications cost).
I am wondering if anyone had come across a group for 2023 Waterloo MSW newbies on any social media platform? If not, is anyone keen on starting one?

Got accepted to Waterloo's 1-year advanced standing program! I still haven't received an email confirmation I just found out through checking quest. Good luck to everyone else who applied to Waterloo :).

I don’t know if I am just burnt out and exhausted or what but does anyone find Laurier’s new statement of intent very overwhelming for such a short word count. So many questions and directions of thought they are asking but only 500 words??

I found these forums very helpful
What Canadian MSW programs is everyone looking at? Tips/Advice/Feedback? Online versus in person?

Hello all, congratulations to those who have received offers thus far!
I am just wondering if there has been any recent movement on Kings/ Westerns waitlist? I have all my eggs in one basket now lol.

You might want to check out Guelph's MSc in Couples and Family. It is a Masters of Science program focusing more on therapy and relationships. Many people apply to focus on couples/marriage counselling, parent and child counselling, and family counselling. Although its not social work, it does qualify you to register either as a marriage therapist or as a psychotherapist in Ontario!
