    Hey there! I have the same kind of issue in mentioning some disorders in my SOI - honestly I knew what you were talking about .... so I feel like they would too. My personal recommendation is keep it fully written out, but if you end up with word count issues, then make it the short form.

    I haven’t asked but I think it is safe to assume that it is the same for UofT! You could also email oise admissions ☺️

    They told me the same ☺️ Also - they said that accepting the offer does not impact their decision on your counselling psychology application (no, they will not see that you have accepted another offer and skip over you).

    I am wondering the same thing. The only thing making me feel that there are more acceptances to come is the very small number of posters on GradCafe who received acceptances. I understand that not everyone is on GradCafe, although I still think that if they had already sent all 35 offers that we would have seen more than 3-4 posters. Staying hopeful that there are more acceptances to come!

    Heard from my second choice (MEd DPE) and have been accepted. Anyone happen to know if this means that I was rejected from MEd Counselling Psychology?

    To the person that posted on the results page about UofT acceptance to MEd Developmental Psychology and Education but had MEd Counselling Psychology as first choice, could you message me please! Wondering what your experience/gpa is - I am in the same boat (Counselling Psych 1st choice, MEd DPE 2nd) and i’m wondering what my chances are of receiving an acceptance to DPE!

    Congratulations!! What time were you waitlisted? Also - did they tell you your spot on the waitlist?

    I’ve seen 3 people accepted to OISE MEd Counselling Psychology (Psychotherapy) - but they were through posts on the forum - not the admissions results.

    This is not an unrealistic leap... hopefully there is a waitlist though! Could also make sense that it is taking much longer for them to contact students given the high number of applicants as I am sure that a good amount of the applicants are more than qualified so admissions has been making some tough calls.. ? - I hope this is the case and that we all still have a shot!

    I feel like they go through applications in chunks - this would make sense for those who receive an acceptance or a waitlist letter on the same day but then we still see more acceptances days later. I’ve read through prior posts - from what I gather they should still be accepting people (looks like it kind of happens in roughly 1 week to 1.5 weeks)! I would say don’t assume rejection just yet!

    Hey! I would say you could email or even call them! Personally I feel like calling would be easier because you will get an answer right away and if there is something that they request you to do then you can do that immediately instead of waiting for a reply! I’m sure that worst case they can either change it for you or add a ‘note’ to your application!☺️ I wouldn’t stress given that you attached a file specifically for it - i’m sure that they will see that!

    Just putting this out there - if anyone hears from OISE MEd Counselling and Psychotherapy if you could post on here it would be greatly appreciated! ? I know that myself and others are definitely anxiously waiting to hear!
