  1. No interview for admissions but an interview for an assistantship position. Hopefully you hear back shortly!
  2. Hi! Received an acceptance a few weeks ago.
  3. I was admitted and my SOP was ~900 words, 3-pages double spaced.
  4. Thanks! I got that email, too. I know they mentioned we'll know more in the "coming weeks" (several weeks ago lol), but I just wish we had an idea of when we may know. It's almost March, so it has to be soon.....hopefully....
  5. Ugh me neither......I'm growing impatient. It's my top choice. I have other funded offers that want a response in March and I'm nervous that they may not let us know before then. I don't want to accept elsewhere without knowing Pitt's funding situation.
  6. Has anyone admitted into Pitt PhD Epi heard anything re: funding?
  7. Me getting notifications thinking it's individuals receiving favorable decisions: ? Me actually seeing what is going on: ?
  8. Accepted into Penn State's DrPH program. Applied 1/5
  9. Meeting invitation with the director of the PhD program in Population Health at Stony Brook University. Applied 12/28.
  10. Hi! I also applied to the DrPH program at Penn State College of Medicine. I can tell you that currently, all applications are being reviewed! They did have an uptick in applications this year (as did almost all programs). I'd say expect to hear sometime during mid to late Feb. You are still in the running! Keep your head up. This process is grueling and emotionally exhausting, but it all works out in the end!
  11. Accepted to the University of Pittsburgh PhD degree program in Epidemiology! I'll include my stats below. Does anyone when we find out about funding? Currently finishing my MPH (Epidemiology & Biostatistics track) Undergrad GPA - 3.66 MPH GPA - 3.99 3 published articles, 1 first author. One cited by the CDC 1 poster presentation at a large, annual infectious disease conference 4 years of research experience in undergrad, internship at state department of health, currently working as a full-time project coordinator for a federally funded research program. LOR from chair of public health sciences at my institution (my advisor), associate director of the MPH program, epidemiologist (a coauthor), vice chair of research (boss).
  12. Congrats! If I may ask, when did you apply to Pitt? Trying to gauge when I may hear back.
  13. Congrats on Pitt! If I may ask, when did you submit your application? Trying to gauge when I may hear back lol. It's my top choice and I am eager to hear something!
  14. Anyone hear anything from Pitt? Applied early Dec, radio silence (as expected) since then. Really eager to hear something.
  15. Congrats...that's amazing! Pitt is one of my top choices. If I may ask, when did you submit your application to Pitt? Do you also mind including your stats? Thank you!
