I had just texted one of my friends that I thought I was rejected because others were already posting! Don't give up hope!

I haven't been admitted anywhere and have no information to suggest that I will be admitted anywhere.
Nevertheless, there is a part of me that is searching for any semblance of a silver lining to cope with this extremely stressful season... right now, I'm insisting on telling myself, "hey, maybe this means the job market will be less brutal in 5-6 year!" which is wishful thinking at best and delusion at worst!

I also just interviewed with Madison. Very similar set of questions with the only difference being that I was asked about my research interests broadly and was not asked to differentiate. I applied as IR/Comparative for Madison. However, no mention of decision timeline. 
The overall atmosphere was pretty relaxed and very friendly. Only advice would be to make sure you are familiar with your interviewer and your own application material.

Bit late on this but I just had an interview with two POIs from Duke today. It was brief, only about 15 mins, and I haven't been notified of a decision yet but from what I could gauge things are looking positive. Fingers crossed, and best of luck to all of y'all!

Because I have also been one to obsessively check the portal, I thought I'd let you know that my Madison application portal hasn't changed at all, I just received an email from a POI. Good luck!

I received an email today about it. I know the interview will be about 15 min either next Tuesday or Wednesday over Zoom. Now I need to make sure I pick the best spot in my apartment for this.
 
Anybody have tips on preparing for an interview? I assume being specific about my research interests is very important, along with being myself.
