To others accepted to Berkeley: I just noticed that my funding letter says that in addition to departmental funding, I was nominated for a "competitive campus-wide fellowship" given the department's enthusiasm about my application. Does anyone else's letter say that? Is this a standard thing or did they actually give me a special nomination? Congrats to everyone getting acceptances! And to those getting rejections or hearing nothing, don't lose hope! I was pretty crushed when I didn't receive the admissions email to Princeton last week and felt sure that I would be rejected everywhere else as well

Email came in early this morning, just before 1am. It said they "received a record number of applications from an impressive pool of candidates" but nothing more specific

I just got acceptance email from Berkeley at 12:50am PST. I'm shocked (especially to receive the news at such an hour lol) and sooooo so excited!

I don't think anyone has claimed the Princeton acceptances on this thread, so the general consensus is that they were probably fake. I am also eagerly awaiting results from Princeton and Berkeley. Nothing so far ?

First time poster (I've been lurking for about a week). I really appreciate how positive and supportive everyone is on this thread!
