I am guessing there's time yet? Judging by the time it took for them to notify the people applying to their sociology program, it took about a week from the first notification posted on gradcafe to the last posted admission. Hang in there!

For Cornell, I am guessing it is not time to freak out yet. For the past couple of years, they don't notify acceptances until after mid-February. Rejections come later than that. Breathe in. Breathe out.

So far, the admits are doing American history. Are they like doing it by fields?

Do they give like bulk discounts? Maybe all of us going nuts from the dreadful silence and waiting can go for it together then.

Just e-mail once? After all, you paid good money for the application, and it'd be a shame if your application was tossed out because it was incomplete.

Can't beat international speedpost. For every application I submitted last minute, it was about 20-40 USD per package. Even then, it takes at least 3 days.

At this point, when my self-doubt is overwhelming me, I think I'll just leap for join and shout, "Yes! Yes! Yes!"... provided it comes with full funding!

Quite a number of the places I applied to with online systems have a "delete recommender" option. Do any of yours have this option? I'm really sorry to hear about your situation. Good luck with your applications.

Yup, U Hawaii is starting to look more and more attractive. Why didn't I apply again? :cry:

They updated my document status on Embark after more than three weeks. But that's for history. Not so sure about sociology.
