I am guessing there's time yet? Judging by the time it took for them to notify the people applying to their sociology program, it took about a week from the first notification posted on gradcafe to the last posted admission.
Hang in there!
For Cornell, I am guessing it is not time to freak out yet. For the past couple of years, they don't notify acceptances until after mid-February. Rejections come later than that.
Breathe in. Breathe out.
Just e-mail once? After all, you paid good money for the application, and it'd be a shame if your application was tossed out because it was incomplete.
Can't beat international speedpost. For every application I submitted last minute, it was about 20-40 USD per package. Even then, it takes at least 3 days.
At this point, when my self-doubt is overwhelming me, I think I'll just leap for join and shout, "Yes! Yes! Yes!"... provided it comes with full funding!
Quite a number of the places I applied to with online systems have a "delete recommender" option. Do any of yours have this option?
I'm really sorry to hear about your situation. Good luck with your applications.
I applied anyway, and keep my fingers crossed they'll overlook this. I thought it was a pity not to apply, given that at that point, I had already secured LORs. Didn't want to waste my LOR writers' efforts.
Thanks! Good luck with your applications, too!
