Ok, so I just called. She said notifications are going out in batches and not everyone has been notified yet. I should receive notification via mail soon. So yeah... rejection.

I know they did - I am assuming rejection. I e-mailed them to ask, but received no reply. Receiving a rejection over phone is nerve wracking, but yeah, I should probably call.

I JUST got my first rejection. It was from a school in which I applied to the PhD program, and they said the reason it took so long was because a POI was fighting for me to be accepted to the MA program, but ultimately he could not. It was at least a really nice rejection to receive. And, no, I do not know where it is! I have looked a few times in various rumored spots, but with no success. I see a scavenger hunt in our future. And it should probably end at a bar with a heavy pour.

I finally received a rejection from Minnesota. It was a very nice letter. I applied to the PhD program, and the letter said that they considered admitting me for an MA (I have only a BA now), but that ultimately they could not. Congrats to everyone who was accepted. I can definitely foresee reapplying to this program in the future - it seems outstanding.

I would say that we could commiserate over our (or at least certainly my) impending rejection together (we are both in Cambridge!), but you have been accepted somewhere at least! I have not heard anything from anywhere yet and it is killing me!! Congrats on Penn State, btw!

Has anyone been accepted yet? Or just rejected? I have not yet received my UW rejection, although I am sure it is only a matter of time.

I am sorry about your rejection. I have STILL not heard anything from Minnesota. At this point I am assuming a rejection, but I would still like to know for sure. Has anyone else not heard anything from them? I even e-mailed them about a week ago, but have received no response. I hate this game... I have not heard any thing from any of the schools I applied to, and am getting very anxious. :-/

I applied to the MA program, and was told in January that "decisions will be made by the end of February with letters going out around the 1st week of March." Hope that helps!

I have not heard anything from UMN yet and my status has not changed on apply yourself. I'm assuming rejection at this point. Think there is any hope?
