Does taking graduate classes beforehand help with admissions?

I took three Ph.D. level courses as an undergrad and got a letter of recommendation from one of the instructors. I think it helped me a lot. -
I found out officially yesterday that I was accepted to UCSB via email to check status (I knew unofficially a week ago). No word on funding yet.

I would send a short thank you email - two to three lines saying thank you and expressing your continued (or increased) interest in the program.

Your timeframe sounds about right. Exploitation film...sounds awesome. Big fan of Jeff Sconce's work. nyfilmfest you have applied to a TON of schools. It seems smart seeing how competitive these programs are, but it must have cost so much time/money. MGJR, it's awesome that you did TFA, and I bet that looks great on your app. I was accepted and plan to do it if I do not get into graduate programs this year.

Would a CV include information that is not elsewhere in your application or would it add value to your application at all? If so, you should definitely upload one. If your CV would not include much of value, then you can skip it.
