this makes much more sense--CSDCAS was probably overwhelmed with the huge number of early Jan applicants.

you are seriously awesome for sharing this info! thank you, thank you! edit: also, does anyone know how many Northwestern admits? I'm curious how many of those 180 can expect acceptance. -
this is so bizarre. I got the same e-mail, but an entire month after I submitted my application (just got it Feb 7th).

Didn't apply there, but congrats! You should post on the results survey. :-) I've been checking even for schools I did not apply to, as it's nice to see the stats of other SLP admits. #obsessed. -

tpatoatl, three years of applying takes a lot of dedication! congratulations--so glad the perserverance paid off for you! -
Acceptance: night of debauchery with my friends at any bar we can make it to Rejection: lots of tequila. And a suit to interview for jobs.

This is why I won't reread my SOP. I worked on them tirelessly for months... Then on submission day, I got all inspired and rewrote paragraphs in their entirety. I felt great at the time, but I am terrified now. Just waiting...

When I applied in Jan, I didn't have my most recent transcripts. They are complete now, and my grades are strong again so I'd like to submit them. Has anyone added a recent transcript to their file? Should I call my schools or just forget about it? Thanks in advance! -

where did you find the invite on google? I couldn't find it anywhere when I searched myself (other than reports of it here and in the results section). -

I also received an invite to Northwestern's open house. This is bizarre. I am wondering if everyone received it -- to those still waiting, it was sent to the temporary address listed on my application. -
this has been done before! awesome-thanks!

I have been incredibly stressed over the past two days. Knowing that I have a whole month to go before I will hear any decisions seems almost unbearable at this point. Music has always helped, so I am putting together a playlist to help me destress and put things into perspective. My freshman year of college, I'd listed to "We're All in This Together" over and over, and it seemed to help. So far I have: 1. We're All in This Together 2. Keep on Keepin' On 3. You Can't Always Get What You Want Any other suggestions? I figured we could all use a little music therapy while we wait this out. :-)

I am very jealous of those who can keep it together right now. I have never been so stressed out in my life. I thought I would feel relief after applying (I felt relief after taking the GRE), but this just SUCKS.

It depends on your program. Some programs would not look at an application with an 850 combined GRE, but there are others out there that do not even require applicants to report GRE scores.

Still feel like I have so much to do--this process just sucks. Also, is everyone using their fall semester grades? I sent my current transcript in and it has been received by CSDCAS. Should I send another when I get fall grades in late December?
