There are vastly superior tools to Facebook that accomplish the goal of staying connected to your cohort, without dragging your entire past and family and ex-lovers and god knows who else into your professional world.

Why not Discord? Or GroupMe? Or almost anything else?

Break the cycle! This isn't 2005, 2010, or even 2015. It'll be 2020 next year - stop making Facebook groups like you're little old ladies and use modern collaboration tools!

Most of these groups are closed, and are used for people to find roommates in the cohort and get to know each other. Since the groups are closed, it doesn't "drag your entire past and family" into your professional world. Just a simple, optional tool that allows people to connect with others.

Same here! Maybe this is our call to start one? I am also looking for a roommate, though I would do a studio/1-bed apartment if necessary for the first semester. It would be nice to get a feel for our cohort

There’s one for the 2 year program, but some from the 3 year are in it too!
