Hi all- lurker here. Congrats to everyone who has received acceptances!

I only applied to two schools this round- Evans MPA and Goldman MPP with intended focuses of environmental policy - and I don’t think any decisions have been sent out yet. Has anyone applied to these schools and heard back yet? I’ve been having anxiety dreams this past weekend and now I’m wondering if I should’ve applied to more schools. Very nerve-wracking!

I applied Evans MPA this round, with a concurrent degree of MS in the School of Environmental and Forest Sciences. No news for both programs so far. (Though the submission ddl of MS program is Dec.1st... Such a long time for waiting the decision to be released...

Is anyone else here in the D.C. area by any chance? Yale F&ES invited me to a couple events for D.C. applicants and I'm wondering if I might see any of you there!

Just got into SEAS with a non-renewable $15k scholarship! I've been stressed all day seeing other peoples' acceptances roll in, so this is a huge relief (and I'm super excited for SEAS). Is anyone planning on going to the admitted students day on March 20th?

I'll def be going to admitted students day! Flying out from California :)

I was admitted to SEAS w/ a $15,000 fellowship! For those of you admitted as well, were you assigned 1 or 2 advisors?

I was assigned one (she's one of the people I identified on my application). What about you?

Congrats on your acceptance! And I'm also flying out from California-- maybe I'll see you on the flight! ?

Hi, congrats on your admit!

Could you share what the mail said about advisors? I wasn't assigned one, hence wanted to know about it before I send a mail to the admissions team.

Hoping to see you there soon! Good luck.

I heard back from Evans MPA program yesterday with an acceptance.

For the SEAS folks, I had one advisor listed in my email (unfortunately no funding information -- yikes). I actually applied to Michigan for joint Ford School MPP and SEAS MS, and I'm still waiting to hear back from the Ford School.

Awesome! I was assigned two - it seems like  my main advisor will be taking sabbatical this fall, which is why I was also assigned a temporary advisor.

What is your specialization? I was admitted for Sustainable Systems and did not receive an advisor. But I called up admissions and they said that Sustainable Systems only assigns advisors once students officially accept their offers to SEAS.

I also asked about merit funding and it sounds like there is still a small amount which faculty give out during visitor days, but that most was already out (though I would guess there might be a few additional grants given once people start making their decisions and some decide not to attend SEAS).

Looking forward to seeing the campuses and some of you at Duke and Michigan's accepted students weekends!

I also applied to Ford-- do you have any sense of when we'll hear back?

Nope -- not the slightest clue, unfortunately. Have you also heard radio silence?

I just saw that it says mid to late march on the website but haven't heard anything more specific than that

Thanks for the information. I have also been admitted for Sustainable Systems.

I didn't get any funding in the acceptance mail. Do you think that can change when we receive the letter from Rackham Graduate School? I'm an international student, so won't be able to attend the admitted students weekend! Good luck to you!

I was also accepted by Evans MPA program, but there is no funding info. in the e-mail yesterday (maybe it is just an informal e-mail) and the portal has not updated yet so far.

Me too! Yes I don’t think funding decisions have been announced. I’m thinking it might be in the next week or so?

Is anyone else waiting for a school that said decisions would come out before March 1?

CU Boulder said before March 1 and it seems like they're really going to push it right up to that date ?

I'm honestly not sure... I know that a lot of Michigan's aid comes in the form of graduate assistantships (where they fully waive tuition for the semester and also give you a stipend and health insurance), but I've heard they are pretty competitive and generally awarded to second year grad students. But you should definitely give the school a call! They've always been really helpful whenever I've called with a question. Good luck with your decision process!

Just received notice from CU Boulder (MENV) about 10 minutes ago of an admit! Honestly I'm a bit floored by this whole process. I applied to 8 schools, assuming *maybe* 2 would want me. Accepted to 7, still waiting on one. The other one is a mega-reach, but I thought Michigan was s mega-reach as well, so who knows?!

I'm actually really impressed by the faculty and opportunities with Minnesota's MS-STEP program at the Humphrey School. It's a very small program, no doubt about that, but they have some faculty working in areas that really interest me, and I wonder if a small, collaborative program may end up treating me well. Got a lot to think about, I guess!

That's awesome! You obviously have what these schools are looking for and you should be super proud! I haven't heard from CU Boulder yet but I know it's not really an option for me anyway because of the price. Knowing that you heard from them is great though because it means hopefully I'll get an answer today
