No.. Non of the schools that I have mentioned sent me the results.. So... anxious

I didn't received any of those. I e-mailed to the office and they told me that decisions are rolling out by the end of March.

Thank you for sharing :)! 

I have checked the website but I didn't get any update. FYI, I applied to the MS in Strategic Design and Management instead of Design Technology.

@Jazzboom @ixdmfaplease oh, i applied to DT, they didn’t send an email but i just went to check the dashboard on their applications website and saw the text saying the decisions are ready.

I'm waiting for Parsons/Art Center and trying to see if I can appeal for higher scholarship from NYU, but I'm 70% set on NYU ITP.

I haven't heard anything from Berkeley, it's the last school I'm waiting on and totally understand how you feel!

@yona thank you! I am super excited about the program -- just received admission for UW HCDE and Parsons DT (didn't get an email from Parsons, just checked portal) as well. I am currently debating between Parsons and NYU and would love anyone's thoughts on the differences between the two!

@ciwy13 congrats! even I got into parsons and nyu itp. Did not apply at uw and berkeley. Even i am currently debating between nyu and parsons. do let me know what you chose and why?

@ciwy13 @A Bawa i will probably go towards NYU, ITP feels more techy to me, there are quite a lot of coding related subjects that I really want to take considering my CS background. DT does seem more artsy which is not bad but I think I would struggle with using my full potential at the program.

Just checked the SVA application portal and found that the status has been changed to "Decision will be sent via mail and email",

and shows "Your Enrollment Steps" on the side.! Looks like the decision has been made but no email yet....

Applied to MFA Interaction Design.

It will be a decision between DT and NYU for me too (and ArtCenter if I get in)! Got funding from NYU, but not Parsons. ITP does seem more techy to me, but I can't figure out why since the classes still seem similar and people go on to have similar careers. I get the feeling people come out of it with more polished portfolios? I didn't get into Berkeley ? got an email a few hours ago.

Just got rejected from Berkeley MDes. And also rejected from UW HCDE. Seems like I am getting rejected from technical-oriented design programs.

Still waiting to hear back from MIT IDM & Cornell but as of now, I will most likely be choosing Harvard MDE over CMU MIIPS. I would have chosen HCDE over any of them so it kinda blows but I'm still grateful!

Haven't heard anything from Parsons at all, weird   How did you guys receive the results?

Also would love to hear more about ITP vs DT. I think the differences I have been told so far are:
(these are coming from my colleagues who were DT grads, and one taught at ITP)

• ITP is a MPS, Pass/Fail system
• The course pushed you to build more physical things, to be more hands-on. Regardless of what route/idea/design you have you will always have something physical to show at the end (hence the Winter and Spring shows)
   
• DT is MFA, so you can teach afterwards?
• DT tends to be more abstract and open-ended, the work that came our of this course can range from physical models to concepts to screen-based media. Both MFA and BFA candidates in DT that I have met told me that you have to come DT with some sort of interest or direction, which will help to drive your projects/thesis. Since it's more open, a lot of people can just presented more abstract concepts or ideas (with or without the intention to create it or finish it), which ... may work for some and not for others? It's easy to get lost or confused in this setting.
  
  Reputation wise both are similar, courses are also similar. But I have been told that the good DT profs have all left, not sure about the current lineup.
  
  I have a BFA from an art school and was naturally drawn to Parsons because of its conceptual background, but I'm not sure if I want to graduate with more "concepts" in my portfolio. But I also severely lack the physical computing/coding/etc. skills so going to NYU ITP will be quite a stretch on my ability ... But maybe that's what grad schools are for?
  
  Please let me know if you guys have any thoughts, and feel free to correct me as well!
