Is there any other person who got this? How do we confirm, is it through the same portal messages or is there any official document needed? Congratulations for the scholarship! ? Yes, you should answer through the same portal and application. Just click in new message, select a topic, subject, and write your message confirming that you'll take part in the language course as if it was a regular email.

Update 2: Today I received the acceptance letter, I hope the best for you all. Exactly one year ago, I got the rejection letter, I applied again this year and got the scholarship. fitto, nichtsehrgut and Mandalorianr 2 1

cutepsycho88 Posted March 12, 2022 Posted March 12, 2022 Hi guys, It is my third try with the DAAD All Disciplines scholarship, and I have already shared my experience on the last year's forum. Three days ago, I got a letter saying that I won a scholarship ? DAAD also offered a prolonged intensive language course due to the situation in Ukraine. My question is: 1. Do you have any experience with this language course? My knowledge of the German language is high, I have TestDaF TDN 5 Certificate (C1.2), but my English language is a bit worse. I would like to choose some English language courses if possible or maybe “Fachsprachenkurs” in any specific field like Culture, Economics, etc. 2. Where is the usual location of this course? I am waiting for detailed information right now, but it is also essential to gather your experience. I plan to study in Potsdam, so it would be good to have a course in Berlin. I would also like to connect with people who will attend such courses. Especially if you are from Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, etc., feel free to contact me pdrviana, nichtsehrgut and fitto 2 1

Hope the results will be released in March. Last year it was in June... kind of scared to wait that long again ? also, my status is still "preselection made", so there must be one more step before a final decision comes. Please let us know if you'll receive an answer to your message!

I've read that some scholarship winners haven't even had their status changed from 'paper copies received', so I believe it's really random. At least I hope so because mine still 'paper copies received' as well. ? I will let you guys know if she answer me.
fitto Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 (edited) I applied for the Master Studies for All Academic Scholarships, and my application is being considered for selection! tolen Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 Hi there, I applied for DAAD EPOS Scholarship and I have been notified that my application is nominated. In the email, they asked me to upload some documents through DAAD Portal. I check the portal everyday, and few days ago the status changed to "Funding", does this means anything? I'm confused because I haven't receive the Letter of Award from the DAAD nor Letter of Acceptance from the University. Thanks for your help

pdrviana Posted March 18, 2022 Posted March 18, 2022 Postgraduate studies in the fields of Fine Arts, Film and Design/Visual Communication. I just got a response from the DAAD portal saying they "still do not know when the results of the selection will be available" However, it was not the same person as usual and the answer was contradictory to the last one which said that the results would be available by the end of March at the latest. ? nichtsehrgut 1

I applied from USA, so the committee is meeting early April to make decisions. For those who have won the scholarship or know people who have won, would you mind sharing what your stats like? (Grading average, background, work experience, etc.) Hi, fitto. Answering your question: I applied for the Study Scholarship - Postgraduate Studies in the Field of Architecture and last month received the selection results saying that I was selected. My average grade is 8,75/10 (which I think it's a B for the US). I also sent for the application a document stating my class ranking, which is 2nd place out of 40 students. I'm an architect and urban planner who graduated from a respected university in Brazil. I come from a tough background and the previous scholarships were crucial to my educational path. During grad, I did an exchange programme in France, co-founded a feminist collective, participated in academic research, published articles at national and international scale, and my final thesis received a 10, highest grade here. I also worked as an intern at an architecture office specialised in high-complexity projects, which hired me after graduation. Parallel to my work, I volunteered at the Architecture Council and, after that, at a social impact startup, in which I was promoted to Creative Director, my last working position. I also have advanced certificates in English, Spanish and French. Important to mention that I'm 29. If you're younger, avoid unfair comparisons. Also, this was my 2nd time applying for the scholarship. If you know that this is what you really want but received a rejection, don't give up - it's really worth it. Good luck to you all! ♥

It would be hard to compete with such extraordinary people. Thank you for sharing your story! It's strange, but I feel better now, knowing I am not THAT (stunningly) cool, so it will be OK to get rejected again:)
Mandalorianr Posted March 25, 2022 Posted March 25, 2022 Hi everyone! My country of application is Moldova, namely the eastern European region. Somebody got their results from the same country/region? In addition, my status has been recently changed from preselection made to selection made. Anyone knows what it could mean? Moreover, how long does it normally take from the interview to the announcement of the results?
GretaG Posted March 26, 2022 Posted March 26, 2022 I have applied for master for all disciplines 2022-2023 and my status is still paper copies received. I only got a notification saying that interviews will be held on april 4-5. I’m from Albania btw.
Sadokat Alimova Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 Hi everyone I am from Uzbekistan, and applied to EPOS scholarship and Master for all disciplines. First about EPOS: 2 weeks ago I received a letter from DAAD, that I was nominated and have to upload my documents to the portal. Last week I had a confirmation from the University about my acceptance to the course. But DAAD is silent. My status at the portal is blank. About Master: No news. It is stiil pre-selection made. P.S. Today portal is not working (((

Selection made means the interviewers made their final decision about the applicants, so you should receive information whether you got the scholarship or not soon. I'm from Poland and my status is still "preselection made". I had an interview on the 2nd of March and they said it would take them 2, up to 3 weeks, but apparently it's longer.. When did you have yours? Mandalorianr 1
