Hey all - I've applied to the HGSE EdD Leadership program but haven't seen anyone else who has! Seems that interview invites went out a few years ago at the end of Jan - anyone heard anything?

I applied for the Ed.LD. as well. No guidance yet. Yes, past trends suggest that some of us should hear about interviews by Friday, 2/3. Good luck! I'll post if I hear anything.

Is it true that Harvard releases decisions in the first week of Feb? Anyone knows trends from previous years?

According to research posted in prior threads, Ed.L.D. interview invites usually go out by the first Friday in February, or 2/3 this year. This year could be different, but that is the general trend.

Hey there, have not heard anything! Maybe they go out later in the day - but haven't seen anybody posting about getting an interview yet - so no news is good news?? I'm crossing everything today... let's see...

Crossed fingers here as well! I emailed HGSE Admissions to ask if there is an update for Ed.L.D. invites. I'll share if I hear anything.

I know I got rejected because I didn't receive an interview invitation.

I think we shall hear from HGSE next week or the week after!

Oh that's a good question-were you invited to interview for the PhD or EdLD? I applied to the EdLD.

I received an invitation to interview for the EdLD. But, I’m not sure they all go out at once.

HGSE Admissions replied to me and said, "we anticipate sending out interview invitations to select Ed.L.D. applicants by mid-February." So perhaps today is not the final day for invites? In any case, congrats to those who got an invite!

Hi everyone! Anyone else on this forum still holding onto hope for the HGSE PhD? I had an interview two weeks ago. I thought it went well, but in the meantime I've gotten rejected from two other schools and am just dying to find out now.

I wasn't extended an interview so my hope for HGSE is zero but I'm sending you good vibes and lots of positivity!! Based on the previous results, it looks like you might hear back today or in a few days. I hope all goes well for you. Please share if you get in. Lots of people will be so happy for you!!

Also had an interview and am waiting to hear back! Does seem like they are likely to notify this week based on past years…

I still have some hope! My interview was also two weeks ago, and I don’t think anyone else has heard back yet. They told me I will hear back around the end of February, but who knows.

Same as the others - interviewed two weeks ago, was told I'd hear back by the end of February, and am anticipating this is the week we find out if we got accepted. I'm so on edge! I've received a rejection from my second choice school (today ugh) and HGSE's PhD is my top choice, so I am reaaaaally hoping this pulls through.

Good luck to everyone else waiting for a decision from the program! @Creamsoda, @Rvmr and @jackie987, I hope we'll all get to be classmates this Fall!
