did you get the scholarship?Ā

Hi, sorry for my late reply.Ā
Yes, I got the scholarship.
They sent me an email saying that they will send the official documents in a couple of days and my funding dates changed & status changed to selection made.Ā

Hi, I was lucky enough to get a master's award this funding round from the U.S., and I submitted 1) my declaration of acceptance (without a signature, since that's what the document asked for) and 2) my consent to processing medical data. I received the automatic replies in the portal that the documents were received, but I haven't heard anything else from the DAAD office.

Since the declaration of acceptance states pretty explicitly that it needs to be submitted within 4 weeks, I just wanted to make sure I submitted it the right way in time, and to make sure I hadn't missed anything else before I start applying to universities when uni-assist opens next month. Are there any other steps that you guys have taken since getting your award letter, or is that really all you need to do?

@rs-hunterĀ not to single you out, but I saw you got this award too and I haven't seen anyone else who might know

Hi there!! Congrats on the award :)That's all I've sent in so far -- I just got the acceptance letter from my host institution so I'll probably send that in soon, but I think the declaration of acceptance and consent for processing medical data are all that need to be submitted for now.Ā

Oh wow, congrats on being accepted to your program! If you don't mind me asking, how did you hear back so early? Does your institution have an earlier application period? I wasn't expecting to hear back from my unis until mid or late summer. That's a relief about the documents, thanks for your help!

The master's program at the university I applied to is pretty small, and I applied directly to the university instead of through uni-assist. Applications opened on March 15th and I sent my application in on March 16th, then got nervous because the application kept mentioning a BS in chemistry/biology as a prerequisite and my degree was a BA. I sent a sort of panicked email asking if my application would still be considered with a BA/if I needed to send anything additional for it to be considered, and they emailed back saying they'd looked over my application and decided to just admit me directly. They were very transparent about their admissions process -- basically just a GPA check, check of the transcript for sufficient course credit in environmental science and chemistry, and proof of proficiency in English from a motivation letter -- so I think they're able to mostly process applications on a rolling basis. I'm definitely glad to have the peace of mind already! :)Ā Ā Ā

Dear All

Honored to know this forum. I am an applicant for the DAAD PhD grant. Usually, we should get the result around early April, but my application status is still "application submitted", so I'd like to know if anybody is like mine? or anybody got latest messages about the PhD grant?

Thank you very much!

Hi,

I applied for DAAD ERP Master's Scholarship for Graduates of Economics and Business Administration from Azerbaijan. Those with preselection made status got reject today(in Azerbaijan). I know 6 people with status selection made already, all of us have "submit/change foreign bank data" in navigation menu(Options). But only I have "additional payments" section in my navigation menu. Does it mean that I am in reserve list? On the one hand candidates in waiting list should not get "additional payments". On the other hand, why only I got this section before all other applicants with "selection made" status:// is it a sign for reserve?

Hey! There was a forum for this earlier but I can't seem to find it anymore. Decided to make one for Msc Global Health at McMaster. Has anyone heard anything yet? I know decisions started coming out around this time last year.

I'm from BrazilĀ :)

I always expected to receive the answer in June because of one of this forums. I found oneĀ guy that applied from brazil, to the arts one, in the design field (same as mine), but 1/2 years ago. I read all his journey, and he only got an answer in June, I think 10/06. So yeah. Disappointed but definitely not surprisedĀ šŸ˜•
