(didn't apply there myself but I wasn't on Facebook last year and I appreciated the Paul Reveres who came over here to spread all the news lol)

There's just one on Draft for right now! A fiction applicant got an email.

Did anyone apply to UMKC and/or know when they usually send out notifications? I couldn't find any mention of them on Draft unless I'm just missing them

Grad Cafe has more info on UMKC than Draft. According to Draft, in 2018, someone was accepted on Feb 14. That’s the only info I could find there.

 

Grad Cafe has the following data:

2023-March 3 acceptance (Poetry)

2022-March 4 acceptance (Poetry)

2021-Feb 19 acceptances (both Poetry); March 4 acceptance (Fiction)

 

So you will probably hear back the week of March 3rd. Hope that helps!

Wait, UNLV is notifying soon??? I had it in my records as 2/8… which I guess is soon but was thinking this week

hmm some of mine are should be close ish (like northwestern, Upitt, and Minnesota) but I have a feeling that will be next week. You?

Yeah, same. South Carolina may get back this week, but I don’t think they will just because their app deadline was the 15th of January… I know Wash U Stl also gets back some time around early Feb. I really just want to get one result back, whether it be rejection or acceptance, just so I can feel like: Ok! its really happening! Hopefully some of my other schools surprise me and notify early

When you say Minnesota does that include Twin Cities?

Fiction wait lists are out for UIUC, so I'd assume all acceptances are out as well.

I picked up a wait list spot, which feels nice as my first result! of course it's so subjective i could still get 16 rejections lol, but it gives me a glimmer of hope for this round.

UNLV always seems like one of the latest. I just had my app move from grad school review to departmental review yesterday.
