Yay. I got into University of Wisconsin! I am waiting to hear from 5 others but I'm thinking I might accept UofW because they offered me a full ride. Any future classmates out there?

I am most likely going to Madison. Congrats. Have u visited yet or are you planing to?

Well no more news from me yet. I've noticed a few of my programs have notified acceptances so I am assuming rejection/waitlist could be on its way for some of those.

Ready for a new week!

Congrats to everyone who has heard some news so far :)

no, they called me...

Well congratulations, that's awesome! :)

They have a pretty solid program, they've been climbing the ranks in the past few years. I know specifically their printmaking program is very well respected. They have great access to New York and the Chelsea art scene, plus I'm pretty sure they offer good funding. Overall, a great choice.

Hi Okmeow, congrats with the Rutgers admission! Did they tell you whether you received any funding/ TA'ship? Rutgers is very generous with funding, and that is one its major draws I think. The program otherwise is situated only an hour from Downtown NYC and this provides easy access (at least geographically) to the art scene in Chelsea.

I hope to hear back from Rutgers (photography/ new genres) at some point... fingers crossed. So far only have received admission from SAIC's performance department. I rang the office to inquire about the scholarship/ funding, and they said it would be decided by the end of this week and the decision mailed out to the recipient of the full tuition scholarship...

I'm not sure how much integration there is with the New York scene into the program, but New York is very accessible from the New Brunswick campus. I am sure they would have professionals coming out the campus as well as you all going into the city. It's a great resource to be that close.

Hey everyone, another long time lurker finally showing their face. All of info on here has been really helpful, and much like you as the weeks go by that anxious-knot in my stomach feeling goes up. Hope everyone is hanging in...

I applied to sculpture programs, really banking on vcu even though I feel like its a pipe dream. If any sculpture kids want to share websites i would love to see some work, just pm me!

Congratulations to everyone getting interviews / acceptances!

It's encouraging to see that there are fellowships out there.

Has anyone heard from RISD and SVA?

Hey,

RISD asked me for an interview last week via e-mail. That was for the sculpture program though, so I'm not sure if the other departments with in the same time line or anything. Good luck!
