Quader Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 Texas A&M has posted notifications on the applicant website. Hmm...Nothing is posted for me. I assume you're referring to the AIS webpage?
Caitlinelise10 Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 Hmm...Nothing is posted for me. I assume you're referring to the AIS webpage? Nothing is posted for me either.
ATJacks Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 Nothing is posted for me either. I logged into the AIS system, and the rejection was under application status.
Jameslv08 Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 FIT emailed me this morning. I made their shortlist of finalists. They will be scheduling an interview with everyone before their final decision.
rgh80 Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 For those that were curious about A&M and their status not being updated even though many had a status update to rejected. I emailed them to ask why my status wasn't updated. This is the response that I got. "concerning the status of your application, we currently have 5 offers out, and 12 others on the shortlist. Â we have also notified those in the "bottom" of the applicant pool that we will not be extending them an offer. Â you have not heard from us b/c you are on neither of the above lists (i.e., the offer list, the shortlist, and the "bottom" list). Â we usually do not send out notifications to those in this group until we close out make the admissions process b/c it is impossible to predict how things are going to play out."

I originally didn't have any 'decision' in my status when everyone else reported rejections. As of yesterday, however, I also have a rejection.
mkeegin Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Has anyone heard from the DePaul I/O program in the past week? Yup! I'm on the waitlist, but I already knew since I spoke with my POI about it last week.
see_bella Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 Not sure if this means anything but I just got invited to the Graduate Open House at St. Louis University on March 7th. Congrats! My best friend is a 2nd year in that program and she loves it! If you go there, hopefully you will, too. The profs are very nice and personable and they always try their best to help out (my friend's words). They practically picked her up at the airport, helped her find an apartment, even took her to the store to pick up furniture and supplies since she didnt have a car yet (now she does).
Jameslv08 Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 Thanks for the info see_bella, I got the exact same impression from my visit. Everyone was very personable. I still have not heard anything from them as of yet but I am hoping that they will send out their responses early this week.

amclayton Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 Checked the website for FIT and decision was updated to ACCEPTED! My first acceptance. So happy right now. That's wonderful news! Congratulations! Has anyone heard from LSU?
A.Borealis Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 I just got an email from my POI at SLU, I'm in the 'hold' category. They have already notified people who have current offers.
amclayton Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Accepted to NCSU Funding details to come next week.
nbrown07 Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 Found out on Monday that I'm an alternate at University of Nebraska, Omaha. Woo!
see_bella Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 Checked the website for FIT and decision was updated to ACCEPTED! My first acceptance. So happy right now. Awesome! COngrats!
gradguy Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 I haven't heard anything from any of the programs I applied to yet. When an applicant is rejected, do they normally send something or do I need to contact the program and ask them? I know in the past schools always promptly let me know in the mail one way or the other, but I have been out of school for quite a while. Seems like it is getting late to get any offers now, but you never know I guess. I have been checking the status everyday and its always being reviewed or at the department level, etc. I have seen people accepted to some of the programs I applied to, so I know they have sent offers. I must be below the wait list and above the rejection list for now.
jetaime360 Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 I've accepted an offer from the University of Georgia. I have notified the schools I was still waiting to hear back from, so hopefully a spot will open up for someone else! Good luck to everyone! Applied: North Carolina State University, UCLA (Management), Berkeley (Management) Accepted: University of Georgia, University of Guelph Waitlisted: UNC Charlotte (invited to recruitment day March 30th), George Mason University Rejected: University of Chicago Booth (Joint PhD), University of South Florida, University of Central Florida, Georgia Tech

I don't think it hurts to ask about the status of your application, I've had schools send notification that I've been rejected, and then I've also emailed them and they responded that I was rejected. I think eventually schools will tell you if you've been rejected, but maybe its not a priority to them so it can take awhile?
nbrown07 Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 I've turned down two I/O offers - one to Claremont and one to University of Nebraska, Omaha (I'm an alternate actually.) I hope that helps someone on those waitlists!
see_bella Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Anybody got accepted to the Kansas State University's program?
rgh80 Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Has anyone heard back from CUNY-Baruch..? I interviewed with them at the beginning of February and they said they were going to make decisions by March 15th which I thought was a really long time to make decisions. I really didn't think they would take it down to the wire like this. So any news,,?
ATJacks Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Hey everyone! I accepted an offer to Kansas State University last night. I turned down offers from The University of Tulsa and Saint Louis University (waitlisted). I hope this helps people on the wait list to those schools.
