moolriaz Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 I dont think MLT Masters decisions are out yet. Though I was told the admissions board meeting was last Friday, so not sure why it isn't out yet.

moolriaz Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 I just got an invite to a Google Group for accepted applicatants to the CMU LTI. It is from a cmu email address and looks legit. However, no formal acceptance email. Anyone else get this - maybe its a mistake???

I had gotten an email from the OSU housing department asking me to register my interest in on-campus housing the day before I got my acceptance letter in the mail. Sometimes these things happen out of order.

PhDerp Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 Did you get the decisions separately from CMU? I applied to LTI and CS. The rejection I got was from SCS, but signed by someone specified to be from the LTI. Maybe there's hope? (There's actually no hope, this school is quite the reach for me. XD) The rejection e-mail mentioned 300+ students applying, so I imagine that it is specifically about the LTI and not CS.

Do you mean Indiana University, Bloomington? If that's the case, I already got an admission there. However, I think it was just the first wave of admissions, your response should be arriving in these weeks, I suppose.
moolriaz Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 I think if you don't receive acceptance by the end of the today from CMU LTI you have been rejected, as they said all acceptance letters would be sent out by then, and have already mailed us info about visiting etc.

Somebody just reported a rejection by e-mail saying that there were more than 660 applicants, but I've not received neither an acceptance nor a rejection. I'm curious as to what is CMU CS's current decision-sending status.
