Hi all. Though I've mostly frequented the Film and English forums here, I did apply and was accepted to one Comp Lit program: Washington. I'm going to Seattle next week for a campus visit and hope to learn more about my funding situation. If anyone else is considering Washington and would like to chat more, feel free to be in touch. Hi, I also got into Washington.

Do you know if the campus visit is an official event?

I was hoping there would be a visit weekend or something, so that I maybe the school would provide funding for the trip..

Hi paulbassett. My visit isn't official. By coincidence, I will be in Seattle for a conference late next week and asked to stop by the department for a chat. I haven't heard about any sort of official visit weekend.

 

Congrats on your acceptance to the program. What do you study? My area is comparative world cinema.
