I think that there's a little more than a snowball's chance that Emory notifies tomorrow. Any other opinions/predictions?

Last year they didn't notify me until Presidnts day. I probably already got rejected because I didn't get an interview. But thank goodness I didn't pay anything for that app :D. Did you interview ?

I'm betting on Madison reporting next week. Check your mailboxes, for some reason they seem to still notify by snail mail!

I noticed quite a few responses from UT-Austin. If I didnt receive a campus invite, or acceptance, does that mean I am either waitlisted or rejected?

Hey LeventeL, I've also been following the Austin responses in the results section. Apart from 3-4 recruitment invites, it seems only 2 others reported results and both appeared informal. As of yet, there have not been enough responses to indicate that Austin has officially notified though I'm pretty certain they've more or less made decisions. Perhaps this week? Fingers crossed.

I didn't interview for Emory either. It'll just be a load off to put the nail in the coffin on at least one application.

I whole heartedly agree my friend :D

I was thinking the same thing. I noticed alot of rejections, in recent years, occurred in the first full week of Feb, but if you go back alittle further, responses were sent out in late Feb. Whatever the case, we will most likely hear something in the next two weeks. *fingers (also) crossed*  I think we can say the same thing about Rice.

It's likely Vanderbilt will notify soon. The committee is meeting on Monday to decide their admits.

Mind if I ask what the source of this information is?  I had heard something different, but your info makes more sense considering the timing of admits on prior years...

So I'm applying for my FLAS right now at a school I don't know if I got into or not. I'm really nervous because I have to contact the department tmorrow and have them send over my scores, LOR, and transcripts. The bright side is that if I do get in and am granted the FLAS I'll have a $25,000 stipend which would be amazing given how expensive the area is. Has anyone else every applied for one before? What was your experience?

For those of you waiting on Cornell, the committees met late last week and I'd be expecting an update soon (though I didn't see anything pertinent to applicants hoping to study the Americas...)

I'm going to guess it's for BU because I'm pretty sure that the FLAS at Ohio State doesn't give THAT much...

You're right but also Ohio's Arabic FLAS was cancelled this year. Something I wish I'd know before applying. :/

Harvard is shut tomorrow because of snow.

Harvard is shut tomorrow because of snow.

Wtf.... It was 75 today in NC, sunny and unseasonably warm by about 40 degrees. NE has had some crazy weather this year.

I've live here 29 years; this is the worst winter I've seen.

Any news on Columbia, UPenn, and Princeton?

Penn looks like they normally notify in the 3rd week of February or a little later, although for 2012 they sent out acceptances around this time.  I don't have my hopes particularly high, but if this website has taught me anything, it's that the past is not the best predictor of the future... as a historian I'm not sure how to feel about that.  Good luck everyone!

I didn't hear from Duke last week, unless they do two waves, I'm guessing I'll be getting a rejection e-mail sometime soon.

Looks like the Harvard admit was an informal one but suggests that we all should be hearing back this week whether we're in or not.

Just out of curiosity, do you guys have academia.edu accounts?  I had actually not heard about it until a few months ago.  I don't have an account, at least not yet.
