They also asked me to fill out a form so they could put my name forward for an internal scholarship. I have already accepted another offer so I turned down the interview. I don't know if it was really an interview (and they never referred to it as such). They just said they wanted to call me to talk about the program at U of S. Since they asked me to fill out the form for internal funding opportunities, it seemed like they wanted to let me know they were wanting to accept me (I may be overly optimistic with this thought). Do you know if anyone else got accepted? My POI wrote me saying the university had been dealing with some budget uncertainty and the offer was delayed longer than she'd like it to have been. I'm not sure what the situation was but it may have extended to the social psyc department also, leading to a delay. I emailed the Faculty of Graduate Studies in February, and they wrote that we should expect to hear back 6~8 weeks after the application deadline.
