Is anyone else getting crazy nervous? The wait is killing me!

Me too! When do you think we're going to find out? My guess is March 11th based on past years since it's a Friday and there's an extra day this year from the leap year.

Hopefully sooner rather than later. Does anyone know when and how Toronto notifies applicants? I've heard it's on April 1st, similar to Western, but is it via an online system or just email?

as far as im told its both school on april 1st at midnight by email

For UBC, I'm guessing it's going to be March 15th. Early offers of admission have been sent out with a funding offer that expires on March 14th (so that the money can be offered to other applicants).

I think for the Ontario schools (definitely April 1st according to ORPAS), I've heard that Western updates the portal at midnight, but U of T sends out individual emails throughout the business day. If U of T is doing it at midnight now that'd be nice.

Anyone know when McGill results will be out?

Last year McGill results started showing up March 12th.

Nope, March 14th. The offer of admission itself is open until April 4th, it's just the funding that expires earlier. Sucks because it's hard to make a decision by March 14th when barely any other schools will have made decisions by then...

I'm losing my mind over here!!! I Just want all of this to be over! haha

I'm only waiting on a couple Canadian schools and a few in the states, I've been accepted to one in the US so far but the way the dollar is, it would be nice to stay in Canada

When I applied to McGill a few months back, the profile tab asked me whether I had a McGill ID number. I responded "no" because I had never been a student at McGill so obviously didn't have one. But when I checked today, it had been changed to yes and I had a 9 digit ID number. I think this is just a number they give to all the applicants (probably to identify people easier). Has anyone else experienced this change in the McGill portal?

Yes mine also shows an ID number now :)

Are we supposed to use that number to log into anything?

I don't think so. I was trying to figure out what it meant. But I'm thinking it's an identifier.

When do you think we'll hear back from U of A given that they changed the deadline this year?

I feel like.. 6 weeks from the deadline for first wave. So maybe by the end of next week?? But it's hard to say with the U of A, they haven't been overly consistent with their decision send out dates.. And then with the change this year...

Can we all promise to immediately post on here if we get a call or e-mail? I'm already dying even though I can't possibly imagine anyone getting back to me earlier than next week, even if I'm in the first wave of accepted applicants.

I alternate between thinking "HA! Getting in is going to be a breeze, I'm obviously fully qualified and everyone will accept me" and "Oh god, why did I even apply, I won't be able to look anyone in the eye and tell them I got five rejections."

Also, does anyone know when Dal sent out acceptances last year? Their website says that it'll be sometime in April or May, and that's an awfully big window of time! If I get in elsewhere, though, I probably wouldn't go to Dal just because of the full extra year of their program (no prerequisites, my ass - you just have to take a full year to do them at Dal after already completing them for the other schools).
