speechietobecle Posted December 26, 2016 Posted December 26, 2016 Hi everyone! I am currently applying to master's programs in speech language pathology. I have already applied to some schools, but am getting really nervous. I have been reading these boards and wanted to ask for additional schools that I should apply to, success stories about my stats, and just my chances of getting in. Stats: -Cum GPA (after Fall 2016): 3.117 -Major GPA: 3.91 -Last 60 credits: 3.76 -GRE V: 160 Q: 158 W: 4.5 Also have been in a research lab for a year and presented a poster at the 2016 ASHA convention.
DBear Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 I'm not familiar with this program but saw a forum specifically titled speech language pathology under professional programs, you might get better feedback there.
rising_star Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 Mod note: I moved this to the "Speech-Language Pathology" section.
Kristen Ackley Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Penn State looks at in major GPA and I think last 60. I applied with similar stats to yours last year and got in.
thespeechblog.com Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 If you can put together a strong personal statement, I think you'll stand a good chance! Most of your numbers look good enough to get your application noticed.
