Someone in the results page said they had a phone call and were told next week for funding notification. Fingers crossed! SIS gave me nothing. However, today something weird happened. I got an email from a member of GWU's faculty congratulating me for being accepted and inviting me to go to the admitted student day or to go sit in on a class. That person also said I had expressed interest in working with him/her (unspecified to maintain anonymity), but I never did so! Is this common practice in the US? He/she specializes in the region I'm from, so maybe that's it. Or could it be a simple mistake? By the way, I made this account in order to post this, but I've been lurking here for a long time now. But given that their website says: "Q: Do you have a rolling admissions process?A: No. The Office of Graduate Admissions will notify all applicants of admission decisions in March for fall admission or November for spring admission.
