I think my world just stopped for a moment... I knew it was competitive, but really thought I had a shot. I guess you had to think that to apply in the first place... Oh well, at least I have my day job. Will wait to see if I get in Ed.M. feels a little better to not be stressing about it! I am sad though.
Great ideas! Since I'm not currently in academia, my references are colleagues or supervisors. I've already thanked them a million times, but they would all appreciate something from the school if I'm accepted!
Sorry tone so late to this dance, but I just had a similar convo with a family member. If you like to travel, get into the travel/hospitality industry. Hotels, resorts, cruise lines, rental car agencies, restaurants, etc,.. All have great perks.
My nephew who lives in Boston called, needless to say he had a new number that didn't show in our phone. Talk about heart palpitations! Too bad he was calling to wish my mom in law a Happy Birthday!
