My situation is opposite. I'm the only married person wherever I go.

See; sometimes I wish I could be one of "the fun people." I'm glad I'm in a relationship, and I love my kids, but I don't have the time and energy to be "fun," and for that and other reasons it's kind of difficult relating to the people in my program who are only in their mid-to-late twenties and don't have kids.

I just don't like hanging out with married people I mean idk some are cool but I never want to hear abut their SO. I would also never intentionally hang out with a couple.

But, geodudes don't have waists...

Let's just all take a second to remember that skinny and pretty are not the same thing, and it can be dangerous to equate them. That said, you do you LD.

Oceanside CA. I think he is coming back here in Aug so that will be like our first meeting and then next Sept he gets out. It sucks but I am so into him I am willing to do it

It would be awesome if I got it I hope it would film over the Summer they have interview dates in April and luckily it falls on a Friday and Sat that I am not in class! So just fingers crossed that I get it.

@nubbin, I know and I have already pushed away really close friends from home, or really limited my time with them and blamed it on school and being busy. The jealousy is just too difficult to deal with, like I want to be around people when I choose to and then when I don't want to I just don't. Like I have a very small window of when I am feeling ok enough to handle them. Still working on that in therapy.

@midwestern, lol I think she will text me occasionally but we will be living in two states that aren't close. Only way I would really care about staying in contact is if I decide to move there after graduation. It is something i have thought about because of the attractive men, good job market and it is a southern state so it is warm. I would have her as a contact but that is a major "what if"

Good for you sticking with therapy. Other good news is understanding when jealousy is getting the better of you and limiting interaction when that happens. I hope you can eventually look at people who have what you want as potential models. You might learn from how they navigate successful relationships. Don't avoid people who have what you want altogether. Good luck.

Nope, you're not the only one! I can totally relate. For me, even getting out of bed is a challenge on some days... And the weather on the East Coast isn't helping the cause either.

Grad school does feel a bit overwhelming at times... But then I try to convince myself that the end result will be worth it. So keep your chin up, we can do this!

Yes, I don't know what happened to me over winter break. Last semester was awesome I was on fire, loved my classes and professors. This semester is just blah.

Because you're forced to spend way too much time together. We have the same problem in my year.

If you're referring to second wave, then yes, you're absolutely right. My beliefs tend to fall more third wave, but not radical. My boyfriend calls it "tumblr feminism" haha. Basically into social issues, inclusive feminism, and fighting stereotypes and gender norms.

The girl in my class is a social work student and feels like that I can advocate for other people's rights and not demand my own

I just like feeling protected like I want to be taken care of not financially but in every other sense I don't like making my own decisions
