My freshman and sophomore grades were low but Junior year was a whole different story and it brought my GPA up quite a bit. -

I'm in the same position as you. Will this affect how upper-division GPA will be calculated for schools that only look at upper-division courses? Will they judge just by Junior level courses? -
FL schools also tend to accept more people in-state in FL, just like a lot of California schools.

Did anyone submit an abstract for SDSU? -
It's probably the most expensive for Canadians applying to U.S. schools with the current conversion rate.

Have you got verified now? I've been waiting for the past week. I submitted transcripts and everything 2 months ago.

So for your SOP did you only talk about the relevant experiences? I'm finding a hard time keeping my SOP concise. -

I know! It's so hard to talk about all my resume experiences and personal experiences all within the limits of the SOP. -

I'm applying to UTD also! Was just wondering how long your SOP was? I know there was no limit stated or anything. Also, last year's applicants were telling me they had to upload a resume... I don't see anywhere to do that though. -

Was just wondering why you're sub GPAs are different for US and Canada? Do they have a different grading system in Canada? -

Is this concerning California schools? I heard they're extremely competitive for Canadians / out-of-staters. -
There's very limited info on this forum and others... can anyone provide some feedback on this school's SLP program and their admissions?

Do you anything about U of Florida's SLP program? There's not much on their website or this forum... -

I am planning to take a computer science elective as a pass/fail course next semester and not having it count towards my GPA. I was wondering whether grad schools look down upon these courses that are pass/fail versus an actual grade? Since this is not a CSD or major course I am assuming it will be alright...
