That's fantastic - is that just internal or OGS + internal? Edit - oops, I checked in a different place and see I got 28 as well.

The way it shows up is odd. It showed my initial application withdrawn, and then a new application approved with the funding details appended.

I applied for the MA, so I don't know if this will help you or not, but they're giving me until April 10th to decide.

Does anyone have any thoughts on BSIA v. NPSIA? A lot of the debate seems to be GSPIA v. NPSIA v. Munk. As a new-ish program there isn't a lot of information out there on it.

Ditto on what the above poster said. A few friends of mine have done their MAs at UBC and taken some of the MPPGA courses during their programs. None of them have had much good to say.Tthey also said the profs seemed a bit constrained in what they could expect from students, making it a less intellectually engaging course.

Just got a call from someone at Balsillie. Offered admission and a CIGI Fellowship, with more precise information on funding/details to follow next week.

I think it really depends on what your goal is. If you're hoping to use your MA as a jumping off point directly into the workforce, than NPSIA or GSPIA may be (marginally) better choices. However, if you're thinking of a PhD after, you may be better off sticking with the MA program through PoliSci. I'm not sure how/if Carleton 'silos' their professors but there is also probably an opportunity to still work closely with profs from NPSIA while in the PoliSci department.

Congrats! I just got my admission from there today, as well. I'm still waiting on Balsillie's MGA and NPSIA's MA. I'd also love to hear what people thought about Queen's. Anecdotally, some of my friends who have done McGill's MA haven't found it to be an entirely positive experience.

So does this then mean that it won't actually be another two weeks, as someone said above - or will the update only be for those who applied for OGS?

I just spoke to someone from BSIA, and their admissions committee is meeting tomorrow. They're hoping to have informal offers sent out next week.

Just received an offer from the University of Alberta (MA) - mentioned that they had a record number of applications this year .

Has anyone heard anything from Queen's? I spoke to someone in their office last week and they said they don't expect to begin sending admissions until the middle of March, but I see that someone posted on the admissions forum last night.
