    E-mail said that funding is limited for international students. I will follow up with an e-mail asking about possible future or external funding as well as TA and RA opportunities.

    I received 3 results in a span of an hour. It's the most stressful thing ever. I was waitlisted by Alberta which was a bit unexpected. They said they will contact me around April again. I also received an unofficial offer from Carleton. The catch is that the offer is unfunded so I don't really know what to think about it. I will be sending a long mail filled with questions about future funding to them.

    Congrats to everyone that got accepted to Toronto. I received a rejection from them, my third one overall. I really can't figure out what is hurting me during this application cycle.

    @existential cowboi congratulations on your offers. I am waiting to hear from McMaster too. Hopefully soon! I assume the process for foreign students the process is a bit more longer.

    I remember seeing it as a part of admissions process. They also have great funding packages.

    Just received a general e-mail from Alberta. Apparently they received 108 application (MA and PhD combined) and their new application system is glitchy which makes it hard for them to process the data. Mail said that their committee will meet first week of March and they will start inviting people for Skype interviews.

    According to the previous results it should start coming soon.

    @Volition I checked the portal and it said not admitted. No letter or anything. I specialize in Comparative and IR.

    Well I received another rejection. This time from UVic.

    I am expecting to hear from Victoria soon. The deadlines were roughly similar to York so it should be rolling in couple of days.

    Just received my rejection from York. I just checked the portal and it said "reviewed - unsuccessful". I am really devastated about this. I guess I'd been dreaming for too long.

    Hopefully! I am basically doing IR/Comparative too. I feel like my International status is making the process longer. So stressed out!

    This might be a long shot but anyone who wants to claim York University acceptance?

    I applied to York too as my first choice. Faculty there is great. I am especially interested in Professor Gill's work on "disciplinary neoliberalism" and "new constitutionalism", which constitutes a part of my theoretical framework of my Master's thesis. It would be a dream come true if I get an offer from there to be honest.

    I was going to but they have a very European approach. As you mentioned, they require a whole research planned out. I also realized they need a certain level of French language proficiency as students are required to take at least 2 classes in French. I learned French in high school but I completely lost my proficiency so I gave up

    Looking at the previous results, probably some time between late February to early April depending on the school.

    I completely understand how you feel and at the same time I am glad that I am not the only one here that feels the same. I am reading extensively on "state of exception" theory for my Master's thesis and seeing interpretations of it in diverse fields is really widening my perspective. I was expecting to see lots of legal and political analysis before I began reading related articles, but I never thought that I would read papers related to geography and agree with most of them. It is crazy to think how much there is to read and comprehend but how little time we have to do so.

    Munk School of Global Affairs at University of Toronto might also suit your needs but I am not sure if they are specialized in Middle East. It seems more Europe oriented to me.
