  1. Hi all! Starting this thread for folks who applied to the MS in Information Experience Design (IXD) at Pratt for 2020 admissions. Goal is to keep track of when folks start hearing back about admissions and scholarship. I submitted my application in November 2019 and sat in on a course in May 2019. Excited about the prospect of the Research track -- not a designer here.
  2. Hey, thank you! The LoRs are from people who know me extremely well. Both Chief's have known me for over a year and the project I worked on at the US Mission was one that was atypical for an Intern to have been assigned (my direct supervisor and the program specialist were assigned it and could not complete it, so the Minister Counselor [head of the Section] assigned it to me to see if I could get it done after reading my published piece and believing my research/writing skills would enable me to do so). While completing the project, I interacted very closely with several Chief's of Units. I w
  3. Hi! I just took the GRE yesterday and got a 160V/155Q. I am wondering if, based off of my profile, it would be in my best interest to take the GRE again. I am extremely aware that the thing working against me the most is that I am applying to enter straight after undergrad, but I believe that my SoP adequately addresses why now. I am posting here, and not in the "chances of being accepted" post because I specifically would like to hear from users whether they think that my GRE scores will be what holds me back from getting into these schools. Schools: Harvard Kennedy (I think my GRE scores sh

  6. Hi! I am mainly going to focus on Fletcher's Map Your Future program... I am very interested in applying this fall (I will be a senior graduating May 2016), but am not sure how I can strengthen my application to make myself more competitive. I would really appreciate some advice, especially because I am lacking foreign travel/studies experience. I am also considering applying for fellowships.. The main one on my radar at this point in time is the Pickering Graduate Fellowship. Does anyone have any suggestions on others I should look at based off of my profile? Do you think I'd be comp
  7. Hi! I am wondering how competitive people think I could potentially be for the following programs (I have not seriously studied for the GRE at this point, so I am ommitting my rough scores...
