Ha I sound like a robot compared to everyone else! I'm going to grad school because that is how I'm going to be competitive for the jobs I want. I want to work in science museums as program coordinator. I want to get kids and the general public interested in science! I don't want all this research to be locked up in the "ivory tower" of academia. Plus this will give me the chances to volunteer for excavations which are super fun! I also want a job that is very close to 9-5. My parents didn't and I never saw them growing up. I love my work but honestly I love my personal life more.

I REALLY want to hear from Kansas and IUPUI. They are my top picks and waiting for them to response is super blah. I'm snowed in as well but I like the snow so that doesn't bother me.

Well at least there's two of us! At least I have my last semester and building a new museum to distract me! Plus I'm growing out by hair so that's another thing I can be obsessive about. I feel like I'm a combination of Larry David and Paris Geller.

I had a dream I got accepted to UC Davis... Ahhh it was just a dream :'(
But it's all good, cause I'm getting married today. On the topic of thread, there will be pink Moscato, champagne, and beer. 
It'll be the happiest day of my life, so screw dreams and anxiety, especially ones about my dress falling apart! 

Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) (Computer Science, Masters (F16) what the.. Apparently, you don't even have to apply in order to be rejected from certain schools..

Yes to all of this! Sorry I'm useless in conversation, I'm drinking my body weight in coffee at the moment. My mentor is lucky I love him. By the way, instead of getting huge bonuses for the show, everyone will get their own personalized library!

I just looked up my schools/programs on petersons, don't do this. I am now convinced I will not get into anywhere and will live out my days in an applebees.

I mean two broke girls is a hit tv show, so two broke grad wannabees should be worth a pilot at least!

Seattle will always have a piece of my heart! I lived there as a kid and it's the perfect city in my eyes. I keep telling myself that too if I don't get in. Eugene is more affordable and its in the PNW so I wouldn't be tooo upset if I didn't get into Seattle. I've been able to sell my boyfriend on Eugene since its a smaller city, he hates feeling closed in ha. I just want to know, it would make planning actually possible ha.

My team won today and I'm going to the seahawks vs panthers game next week. I'm sooooo excited!

I applied for PhD, but accepted into Maser's degree without financial aid. They are unbelievable bastard! I emphasized in my application that I only want to study PhD, NOT MS. Such a crappy school. Don't go there otherwise your urine will start to build up a stalagmite in this harshly cold place :))

@Pink Fuzzy Bunny Thanks, for that! Yeah I'm just dusting my ego off a bit since my professionalism is something I feel very strong about. True about laughing about in the future! If I've never failed at something/did something embarrassing I wouldn't have any interesting stories to tell.

I'm applying for grad school this fall as well, so I have nothing to really add. But I'm really interested in hearing everyone's experiences! From all the grad schools I've applied too, only one has definitely said no funding. That program mention GA positions but those are very hard to come by so I'm not relying on that at all.  If I have to take out loans it won't be too bad, I have no debt from undergrad. 

Community is pretty awesome!
