Of the two, I only got into/visited Cincinnati, but I was really impressed. If you're interested in phil of mind, especially new and interesting approaches, it's a great choice. Plus it's starting to draw some notice in the rankings, so whatever value that holds is likely to increase during your time there.

Accepted to LSU about a month ago; I had written them off because the acceptance offer explicitly said "without funding" - but they just came through with a pretty generous (for an MA) assistantship/funding package yesterday. 
I'm waitlisted at GSU and accepted at NIU (unfunded) and the New School (40% off). Also presumed declined/hidden waitlist at 3 PhDs. 
I'd love to go to GSU if I get off the waitlist, otherwise I'm leaning towards taking the LSU offer (assuming no movement on the PhDs).

In at Boston U. First I've heard from them lol. Maybe I was on a hidden waitlist?

I have accepted an offer from Colorado Boulder. Is anyone else on here either going to attend or considering attending CU? 

Accepted to Houston's MA with an assistantship.

Offered admission at the New School for Social Research, with 40% tuition award.
With the offers from U Chicago Divinity (full tuition covered with a stipend) and Yale Divinity (most tuition covered) for their MA programs, I'll have to ponder this a bit.

I declined my offer from Florida State, removed myself from the waitlist for Purdue, and will decline my offer from Georgia. Hope that helps someone.

In at Indiana HPS after my inteview this morning. Throws a huge (but happy) wrench in my decision plan.

FYI, Carolyn Dicey Jennings has been collecting a bunch of updated placement records (including breakdown by R1 vs any permanent position) from 2011-2016 and releasing them on her twitter over the past few days (https://twitter.com/cdj140). It's info that's probably relevant to those of you who need to make a decision in the next few weeks.

Come on! Just send out the rejections already!!!! Put us out of our misery and let us decide where we will go, if anywhere!!

Anyone turn down offers from UMass?

Philosophers are just awkward in general.  I'm obviously including myself in that generalisation, and realise that I too am quite awkward.  I've had some pretty awkward interactions, and frankly, I get tired of only talking about what kind of philosophy I'm interested in.  I won't think too far into it though, I know I take a while to warm up to people, and I'm inflicted with resting bitch face so people take a while to warm up to me.
I think we do have to disentangle uncomfortable from straight awkwardness, though.  If the department feels uncomfortable and it's not something you think time will solve, then trust your gut.
PS.  @Naruto, if it's any consolation, I thought you were better at casual conversation than I was when we met at Western

Philosophers are probably the most socially awkward sub-group, so I'd say you're in good company .

I was accepted in the Master of Social Work at McGill University, Université du Québec à Montréal and Université de Montréal. I will be attending McGill.

I must have been on one of those hidden but now not hidden waitlists haha! I'm 7th in line for funding, but it says accepted. Thanks for the positive thoughts a few days ago!
