Is anyone else waiting to hear back for summer program at UCF? I am starting to lose all patience and sanity. I know that they have been accepting in waves, but the program starts in less than a month!

I was just sent an email that said the admissions committee is meeting on Thursday and they will email everyone on Friday the 22nd about their status !

Was anyone recently accepted into UCF for summer '16 and given a specific date that they needed to let the program know by///anyone know when they will be sending out another round of acceptances ?

Oh I'm getting to that break down point, thank goodness tomorrow's the 15th, fingers crossed I don't have to wait too much longer. I have a full time job right now so I suppose a two weeks notice would be just enough time, however, it's kind of hard to drop everything and pack up your life in just two short weeks and find a place to live and all that good stuff haha ?

I'm still waiting to hear from a program that starts in summer, may 16th! I'd be moving from Ohio to Florida, and i saw some people last year weren't accepted til like two weeks before. Crazy! The waiting game is killing me

I still haven't even heard a single thing back from three of my schools, kinda assumed it was an "unofficial wait list" type thing. So jealous of everyone that heard back back in February and even March. Do you think those of us on wait lists will hear right away on the 15th or do you think we'll have to wait even longer into the next couple weeks? ?

I was wondering the same thing, I was wait listed too. I wonder when we're supposed to hear back!?

I'm still waiting to hear for summer! I've emailed the csd graduate office and they said they are still working on summer and have begun fall. I was told that they hope to have all admissions out by May 1st, and are trying to finish summer decisions much sooner than that.

No! I still haven't heard a thing! And my portal still says "no decision" but I've seen that some more people in the results page have been accepted and some have been rejected. I'm so anxious I want to know!

Awesome!! Thanks for that info, I was just starting to assume it wasn't going to happen. It's my #1 choice right now. Did you get accepted there for summer?!

I'm still waiting to hear back from UCF for their summer program which starts in May, kinda starting to lose all hope in that one. I'm also waiting to hear from University of Cincinnati and I've seen several acceptances and wait lists but I've heard nothing, losing hope there as well. Starting to look for back up plans. Keeping my fingers crossed though, anyone else in the same boat?

Thanks for the info!! I also have my bachelors in csd and have the required 25 hours. Where is the paperwork sent and testing done? I must not be looking in the right places to find all this information out lol! Also, if you don't mind me asking, what's the pay rate in your area for slpa?

I'm still waiting to hear back from three of the four schools I applied to so naturally I'm looking into Plan B options. Does anyone have any input on becoming an SLPA? How does one go about getting into this occupation? What are the requirements, etc.. Any help and info would be appreciated!! ?

I just received an email from Kathy Wasson at USF and she said they are having an admissions meeting this afternoon and I should be receiving an email about their application decision before 5pm today.

I'm kind of regretting only applying to three schools, but oh well, hopefully it all works out. Also, I talked to Kathy, I'm in the same boat as you- they're still reviewing it. She said hopefully I'd hear by the end of the week as well, so we'll see! Hopefully we hear soon, good luck!

I know exactly how you feel! Seeing acceptances for some of the schools I've applied to and not hearing anything is a bit discouraging and very stressful! Hopefully we hear something soon
