I get why they're not reviewing yet. Don't stop me from checking every few hours. It's mad nerve wracking.

Who has time for patience? We want emails and we want them nowwwwwwwwwww (Just not Christmas emails. Tx.) Jk jk jk....Most of mines don't start sending invites till like week 2 of January. Going to just keep myself preoccupied with ?

Buying a small bag of rice for one of my letter writers and some bodyshop stuff for the other two. They didn't have to help but they did. Also slowly losing my mind. The first shool should be sending out invites between this Thurday and next week tuesday. I'm so nervous.

I feel you. I've been a bit ill and I keep eating because dopamine and serotonin. Now I've gained the 2kg I lost over the last 4 weeks. Setbacks suck

Wow. This is quite helpful and informative. It kinda shows that scores are quite variable in terms of how much they matter. Students who got rejected had mean scores higher than those who got accepted. I mean, unless something somehow skewed the data, this is what I infer. Although, more people with higher scores may be applying to more competetive schools than those with lower scores. I love how the dates give me a glimpse of when to start panicking.?. Thanks tho.

Currently attempting to pray all my recommenders into submitting their LORs on time.? Also trying very hard make sure my body does not revolt on me. Combining full time work with applications is a dooooozy. ?

Cracking up at this Big 5 reference. ?

That's odd. I applied there and I don't have any issues. Email: grad-ga@utulsa.edu. They are very responsive.

Thank you for this. I followed most of her advice alread. Yay! I submitted 3 of 4 applications for the Dec 1 deadlines. I have a bunch of deadlines for Dec 31 as well. I cut out a whole bunch of schools due to funding irregularities ? and some had additional monetary obligations I had not planned for *side eyes the university of tennessee - knoxville*. I'm trying to make sure all my recommenders submit the letter for December 1. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!

Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. Good on you! I had no idea schools sent out invites this early.

Hmmmn. I have a first author manuscript I've sent to a journal. I think I'll submit that. I just worry about it's length. Thank you for your help tho
-
Thank You! For my masters, we wrote several 1,500 and 2,000 word essays as assesments for our courses instead of writing tests and exams. I'm thinking of submitting one of those as my sample work. What do you think?

Hey guys, I have a question abot CVs and sample work Is there a preferred CV format? Or number of pages or something? Can we submit work we've already submitted to a journal or a university assessment? Thanks, Christabel

Alright then. Done

Can I add you guys to a wee chat so we can exchange SOPs? Or should we just post it on here so folks can benefit from it?
