    I'd say send her a follow up. Sometimes they get so many emails, it might be lost in the shuffle. It might be good to follow up, especially since she wants to interview before 2/16.

    I just had a skype interview that lasted 30 mins. 15 minutes of them asking me questions and 15 minutes of me asking them questions. I'm scared that's not a good sign. We got along okay but I don't know if 30 mins was good enough to make a good impression. People usually have half day interviews and I can't even stay on the call for 1 hour....... p.s: It was for a Counseling Phd.

    It appears to be an interview after being on the the waitlist because the person said they got the email on the 4th. And I know they sent their interview emails out a couple of weeks ago. Their actual interview is 2/15.

    Schools often require you to submit a copy of the thesis to the department. Can you call the school to ask if they possibly have a copy? Or search your old emails from that time to see if you sent it to someone? I kept sending my dissertation back and forth to myself and my supervisor.

    Awwwwwwwwwww. *hugs* Heyyyyyyyy. You're just finishing undergrad. 4.0 GPA and valedictorian. Enjoy those things. They don't get diminished because you didn't get into grad school immediately. Finish out the rest of the year and enjoy it. Go somewhere crazy for Spring break. Snooze. Just enjoy your last year. Then look into research assistant jobs you could get even if you have to work for free for a few months. Put a few miles on your CV. Then try again next year. You are not less because of this experience. Use it wisely and enjoy your journey. P.S:"It didn't work out this time" is all everyone else needs to hear.

    For Southern Illinois is it Clinical or Counseling? I've seen some folks get interviews and rejections for both on the results page.

    So from the mail I got from UMSL, They had 160 applications and they're filling 5 slots. If they interview 3 students for each slot, we're looking at 15. If they interview 5 for each slot, you're looking at 25 persons. P.S: I didn't get an interview.

    Hi everyone, Thank you for your insight. I'm a first time applicant. Does anyone know if interview questions are different for Counseling Psychology or if there are any variations to the questions/experiences? Responses and PMs are welcome

    I have mixed feelings about schools adding me to their longlist and waitlist. I'm angry because man, reject me if you will reject me. What is this nonsense? But I'm also happy because my application is strong enough to at least get on their waitlist...... *fat sigh*
