    Many schools state on their website that it is the student's responsibility to ensure all their documents are complete and are sent to the department. However, if you can contact the departmental head and explain it to him while copying the grad school/international office, they might be inclined to review your application. The challenge, I believe, would be if they have sent out offers. They may not be inclined to appraise your application.

    If you check the results page 'thegradcafe.com/survey' you'd find that multiple persons have heard back and been waitlisted by Nebraska. Try emailing the departmental graduate studies co-ordinator if you're not sure.

    Trying not to lose it because a school I really like has sent out 1 confirmed acceptance and I've heard crickets. Cannot lie, I'm absolutely freaking out.

    I just got accepted into a school and I am ecstatic. I know I won't be accepting the offer because the funding isn't right but I got in, y'all......... *does a mini jiggy* *insert twerk emoji*

    Don't be so hard on yourself. You are applying to a bunch of tough schools. Try again next year and apply to more schools. I do think you might have to expand the spectrum of schools you apply to next especially as you seem to have a Social Work background. Don't give up on clinical yet. You might need to look into the POI angle a bit deeper. You have some specific interests, talk to some POIs before the next cycle and before you apply to their schools.

    You know, even though I'm aware that my chances of getting an interview from the NIU waitlist is slim, I keep holding out hope. Even though I've interviewed at places I've liked. It's my No 1 choice.
