    Hi Everyone, Being a non-native speaker, i need someone to just go over my SOP. I tried to slide humor in my opening paragraph. So i need some review whether it works or not ? Moreover, any comments on the grammar or the content will be highly appreciated. I am trying to apply for a graduate program in engineering sciences.

    IF we don't get a positive reply from a professor from a university we intend to apply later, does that mean we need not to apply there as it might be difficult to secure grant for Phd there
