  1. Oh my gosh guys! I am so excited for all of you!!! I am so glad y'all found this thread and enjoyed it! Anyway, I got another acceptance offer! It is at the same school as my undergrad so it was expected b/c it is a small school so they take care of their students but still it's an option! Thanks guys! Applied: UNCW, CCU, BU, GWU Waiting: UNCW, GWU Accepted: BU, CCU
  2. I am incredibly excited to announce that I received my first acceptance offer to Boston University for their MAT program Anyway, I was on the forum trying to find other people who were accepted to schools and excited about it but all of the forums that were about acceptance were also about rejections. I felt bad about posting how happy I was when their post all seemed like they were stressed so I decided to create my own chain where all who have been accepted and are excited about it can shout it from the rooftops meaning post about it in here. Applied: UNCW, CCU, BU, GWU Waiting: UNCW, CCU, GWU Accepted: BU
  3. The only one that is not credential is GWU and they basically give you everything you need you just have to go to the state yourself and apply for licensure. Which schools did you apply to? I really wanted to go to Cal State Chico but it was too illogical to travel all the way across the country.
  4. I'm dying over here waiting for my decision letters so I thought I would start a thread solely for Secondary Education MAT programs. I applied to Boston University, George Washington University, Coastal Carolina University, and University of North Carolina University.
  5. I applied to BU SED but their website said it would be about 6-8 weeks so I'll start worrying around March 8th just to be on the safe side
  6. I literally submitted my applications in the last two weeks so mentally I know that it will be at least a month from now before I hear anything but I just want to know. Right now I am finishing up undergrad and part of that is a capstone class. We are just talking about grad schools and what we need for them and it just sucks waiting. I hate the anticipation. I did get into my safety school but that's not where I want the yes from haha.
  7. I have no idea where to begin writing an equity and inclusion statement for Boston University school of Education. If anyone has any advice or ideas where I could get started and what I should write about that would be very helpful! This is the prompt they included: Equity and Inclusion Statement: Boston University School of Education is committed to equity, diversity, inclusion, and social justice. Please upload an equity and inclusion statement, and comment on these principles in the context of your professional aspirations. The statement should be approximately 2 pages, double-spaced.
